    I like. Fun to turn resin and wood. I make a lot of 40 oz. pours and always tap the side of the mold at different levels of pour to release bubbles. It will help.

      @@PohlBarnProductions, I've used a massage vibrator to raise the bubbles. Just massaging the side of the container seemed to work great. I stole the idea from concrete vibrating. Might be worth a try your next time around.
      That's a fantastic piece of swamp-wood. Your choice of colors and placement made all the difference.
      Would also be interesting to do similar work in flame colors (orange and yellow with hints of red and blue).
      This meld of natural and synthetic mimics nature's opals. Mesmerizing.

    The thumbnail (being as small as it is) made the vase look like the most beautiful door knob I've ever seen. If the well to do folks were to see such a thing, I bet they would outfit their homes with them.

      John-Paul Silke What does AI have to do with anything creative, like this man is doing? If AI reaches the heights of being creative, it will be another artist. Period. When photography was invented, many critics predicted artists would not be needed thereafter.
      True artists grabbed hold of the new tool and used it to improve their art.
      What makes you think true artists won't partner with whatever new tools come along in the future and produce new creations that will be mind blowing?

    • @john-paulsilke893
      @john-paulsilke893 5 лет назад +1

      Indeed I think much like photography the human mind and AI will combine and make art so beautiful as to make genuine tears of joy, passion and other emotions perhaps beyond descriptions. My point was that this was so far away from what should or could logically be made useful was somehow not only made useful but also incredibly beautiful.

    Мастер одним словом. Спасибо. Продолжал удивлять. В умелых руках и простая деревяшка становится шедевром.

    Beautiful piece. I've been turning for a few years and thinking of getting into resin. You are definitely inspiring me - just got to buy a pot and get on with it. Thanks.

    You sir, are a true artist. It’s very satisfying watching you work, it’s great that you have the same issues and problems that we mere mortals would have with such a project. The technical elements of your work are amazing, but can be learned, however the artistic aspect of “seeing” the potential of the raw material is a lot less easily done.
