Henry Trefflich is my Grandfather! This is the first time I've ever heard his voice or saw a video of him! This has really brought me a lot of joy! He passed away before I was born.
That's wonderful!
In the second game, the very first question was, "What is the Fuzz.? the first lady she asked didn't know. I elimated her right away
outsmarted the panel in game one. never saw a female cop in 1960, you couldn't be a short man and be a cop. happily exotic animals are no longer sold as pets, but I would have liked to have seen this guy's shop.
Man #3 in Game #1
Lady #3 in Game #2
Man #1 in Game #3
My aunt was an undercover narcotics policewoman cited by Mayor Miriani of Chicago for her work in the smashing of a dope ring. That was September 2, 1959.
Richard J. Daley was the mayor of Chicago from 1955 until his death in 1976.
He was mayor of Detroit
I would have asked Henry Trefflich (not "Treplich") why he was born in a zoo--and which zoo he was born in! (There's a mixture of accents here, with contestant #2 having the strongest one.)
I think this is probably the first episode with CBS' Roger Forster as the announcer, which he would be until October 1960, when Johnny Olson took over.
The month I was born. That's a nice thought that Johnny started announcing then (in TTTT) right from the beginning of my life!
Interesting that the Philadelphia police department was cited for outstanding work. These days congress spends much of its time grilling & playing "gotcha" with anyone who comes before them.
Polly is full of it!!!
She's a time waster. I wish they had found someone else for her spot.
@@kenthompson5723Thankfully, she left in 1961.
I always fast forward during her part in the show.
It's my birthday episode,(July 7) , only 19 years before I was born!
Only 3 mts for me lol.
What does Don Ameche have on his head !!!!????
Now I remember why, though Polly Bergen was very attractive, I found her tedious, needing to be the Center of attention all the time.
She was married and divorced three times. Like Judge Judy says, "Beauty fades, dumb is forever."
How do you get away with bringing those sorts of animals to a store? Just as well you cant just traffic animals any more. Hope they were treated well. Fancy tying elephants down with chains. Horrible trade.
Yes that was absolutely appalling . Imagine doing that to a person . Also having birds in cages is appalling cruelty , doing that to a creature that was born to fly in the wild .
What did Bud say to Polly 1:48 !!!!????
Bud : I'll see you right after the show.
@@clairehenderson9710 : Yes , why does he say things like that ; I thought he was a minister !!!!
@@clairehenderson9710 : Buddy's seems to be always trying to be one up on everyone !!!!
Why was Bud gonna be gone for 3 weeks?
Paul Edelstein - he was gonna say but he couldn't tell the truth!
I'm guessing some sort of surgery, though I have no way of knowing for sure.
Does Buddy's have a hair piece on his head !!!!????
Yes, he usually wore a rear head piece which looks like some sort of "cap" for lack of a better description.
Word on the street is that elephants don't run. Their pace is a fast walk, like speed walkers.
Sigh
"More Doctors Recommend CAMEL".
TT the T - most camel smoker's demise has been hastened by the product. "Smoke & die young"
I think being fat and out of shape is worse. Like most virtue signallers telling others how to live.
