Great review, I have the same gun and i upgraded the scope to one with mil dots 4x9x50 and worked out all my hold overs at certain ranges and it will hit tin can targets clean at 70 yards on a calm day, i have the 22 calibre and i have had clean hunting shots at 65 yards, i was told when i purchased the gun that the barrel was a bull barrel which helps with upwards recoil due to the extra weight, cant remember the technical name he said and also got told its not a suppressor/ silencer as the barrel comes right to the end. Fantastic gun for the price and cant see me changing for many years.
Scope was a let down on mine I changed it to a nikko Sterling mount master. Also I found the remington express hammer pellets in it and they were spot on.

Try a new Gamo out there a game changer
