But, as an English speaker, I'm glad that there have been some English translations of Lorca and would feel poorer without them, no matter how incomplete they may be compared to the original. A great example is Leonard Cohen's wonderful song "Take This Waltz."

I first heard this song at the Immersive: Frida Kahlo show. It put her paintings on these screens to make it look like you're in the paintings and during one part this song played and I started tapping my foot to it. Then I shazamed it to find out what it was. Needless to say I almost instantly fell in love with this song.
