I own a 2009 Q5 Prestige and found your review to best the best so far to cover the little details that I appreciated the most - simple things like the rear seat latches in the trunk, if you can believe that. Seems minor, but as a previous model owner, not having those in mine are a huge annoyance. Nice job.

Hi Dave. Love your videos. A suggestion, in the cargo section could you test it out with your dog Hershey in? I have a large dog and it's hard to tell if the cargo section of SUV/cuv is roomy enough for him. I can't take him to a dealer to test it out. Lol
There are 2 points you haven't mentioned: Good one: Q5 can heat or cool your drink. Bad one: The parking assist is extremely primitive; just a simple visual aid. It must be like the one in Q7. It must not be so hard to adapt it to Q5 when it is already available in Q7. Such a big and luxury vehicle needs it.
I’m considering trading in my 2013 Sonata for a Q5 but I’ve got heated seats in the back of my old car now. That should be standard. My daughter’s 2015 Sonata has cooled and heated seats in the front and heated seats in the back.

You can have navigation if you have an Android or Iphone. The Q5 comes standard with Android Auto and Apple Car Play which both come with Navigation within each App. If you don't have an iPhone or Android though you will need to get the MMI Nav Package.

Most All Audis have a kick to open feature for the trunk or hatch, powered trunk or hatch have kick to close also.

I don't think that Lexus RX compete with Audi Q5. More likely Lexus NX does!
