Everything really went our way plus officiating seemed suspicious if i’m being unbiased. i love our team but Uconn is clearly the better team. We were the better team that day. Also we match up very well with them and their turnover problems they’ve had all season. Great way for the ladies to find a way to take down such a giant and somewhat convincingly aswell.
I wasn't expecting Uconn to be eliminated this early. I thought they would last until the elite 8. Paige Bueckers' absence definitely hurt Uconn this season seeing how they were in the finals vs. South Carolina last season.
The math wasn’t mathing for uconn or stanford this year. Shout out to Geno and Tara abs others for developing the women’s game. This tournament has been full of the most surprises and I love it
It’s always been interesting. I think uconn is responsible for a lot of the attention increases in women’s basketball for sure, even if they lost today

As a huskies fan I’m content with the effort they put out on a nightly basis even with all the adversity. In the back of my mind though I knew this team wasn’t good enough to make a deep run with the roster they had
U Conn had huge injury issues all year and soldiered on . BUT their bench sat most games. They went with FEW players. These "sitters" were recruited. If I were one I would be heading to the portal for sure. Kids want to play on the court.
I had UConn not making the final 4 in majority of brackets. This does include a loss to Ohio state. Ohio state is unbeaten when they force the opponent to have 20 or more turnovers. We all know that UConn averages 16.2 turnovers per game, and thus Ohio state’s press exposed this weakness.

Why are the mens highlights so much louder than the women's? I have no problem listening to the men's but the womens even with my computers sound and youtube volume all the way up I still have a hard time hearing. This should have been fixed in the first round. Not still an issue in the elite 8. Come NCAA you have one job.
I know for a fact UConn will be there next year as the top team in the nation because the head coach hasn't won 11 national titles for nothing so he will get them there and we will be on top again, go UConn Huskies! Keep your heads high!

For several games I was saying they were due to fall because of three problems...turnovers (a ridiculous 25 this game), ft inconsistency, and lack of urgency for rebounds. Ppl in the chats were like: you're crazy, they're going to the final four. Now? Crickets. Lazy rebounding, poor ft percentage and a profane amount of turnovers...yep, checked all three boxes. Don't get me wrong, I like the Huskies...but I'm also a realist. Next year should be much better. A few exciting commits coming in and a healthy 20+ ppg scorer back in Paige and I'm sure a disgusted Geno wanting to devise some tough drills to clean up that 3 pronged catastrophe cycle. I don't envy their off season training. We'll find out who can hack the nuke about to come down on them and who is gonna start rushing to the transfer portal.
I did. Greasy Geno is overrated and now that there's more parity in the women's game, he's being exposed as the mid coach he's always been. He can't roll out Olympic level rosters anymore now that women will go to 3 or 4 dozen legit colleges now to hoop. Never gonna win another natty.

The refs really...we need to go back to school refs...their was so many fouls that Ohio State committed against UConn and they were not called bit overall UConn just committed way too many turnovers, sorry ladies but I am very confident that next year they will be the top team in the nation!!
Connecticut couldn't get out of the press and couldn't muster their comeback. Getting Aliyah Edwards into foul trouble really helped the Buckeyes cause eventually winning it convincingly. I was very sure Ohio State is the team UConn didn't want to face in the Sweet Sixteen. Buckeyes were a bad matchup for UConn.

UConn is like the Phoenix, it will rise up out of the ashes to reclaim it’s pride and dignity … they didn’t regain it’s footing after a bad year of injuries and stumbling blocks … they will be back stronger and better than ever.
