I LOVE to thrift Ralph Lauren button downs. 100% cotton sweaters are also great to thrift for those who still want a great quality sweater. They're more readily available if you want to skip out on synthetics, and you can't find wool or cashmere.
Totally agree that the men’s section has great cotton knit sweaters. Even the Gap labels are nicely made and fit great.

This video took me back to dating a guy who was Polo Ralph Lauren OBSESSED! He only wore Polo, even down to his underwear and socks, AND he decorated his living room with Polo teddy bears and pillows 🤣 Now that I think about it, he also had folks calling him Larry. You are so right -- there are great things in the men's department of thrift stores! The sweaters are a bit longer in the sleeves and bottom hem, just like I like it. Love the jeans and trousers too.

Men’s section always has the best coats and sweaters and vintage Levi’s denim, always check that side.

I always shop in the men’s section, especially vintage. My petite, rectangular frame looks best in the men’s vintage clothing. Plus they’re comfier and cheaper.
I have some new RL items but definitely need to thrift and in the MENS section, especially for jeans!!
Totally agree with you about the men's button down shirts being way better fitting than women's. Whenever I have tried a women's it's always too tight fitting or slim fitting. Also you are the one that got me addicted to buying men's Levis....I will never go back!

Poor men. Now we women are taking all their stuff. I just found a Christian Dior men's shirt from Marshfield Field, new with tags. It fits perfectly except for the sleeve. I just roll those babies up. An older gentleman who knows my sister said "hello" and "but that is a men's shirt. Why are you buying that?" I have to laugh. Always love the Ralph Lauren prep look.

Ralph Lauren was my favorite brand back in the 90's, mainly because they were one of the first to make nice quality petite clothing. I have since given everything I wore back then to Goodwill. And, honestly, I have no desire to wear that style again. It's kind of surreal to see young women thrifting for that clothing! I like your polka dot skirt with the striped top.

I love Ralph Loren. I can never shop in the mens section. The clothes are too boxy and i have a very Latina body type with a 13 inch difference between my waist and hips. If you look at real Ralph Loren blazers they actually have an hour glass shape. I loved this video though and you did great getting the look down.
Always. Always. Smell the clothes! If anyone has good tips on taking that wet rag or cat hoarder smell from clothes pleeease let me know. Vinegar doesn’t work.
You may have to soak the items before washing them. Also try baking soda, or try vodka. Vodka is used in the theater to remove odors and kill bacteria in between professional cleanings.
I found a brown suede jacket for $6.99 at goodwill.. wore it once.. donated it back.. it was just too bulky and heavy for arizona. Oh well.
