    I have the hobby version of this tumbler, and after a year of rockhounding I have outgrown the size and need a bigger unit. They're sturdier than they look!

    ,Speed is radius x omega, maybe in this case we should calculate the tangent speed, the angular speed is maybe not the good one to compare. The speed on a car with an engine running 10 rev/min is not the same for a car with 1 inch wheels and a car with 10 inches wheels.

    To start the speed test he had the Pro model set on speed 3.
    The Hobby model was faster.
    Then he reduced the speed of the Pro model and at 12:51 he says the Hobby is "still running faster".
    Well I guess it would still run faster if the speed of the Pro model was reduced.
    Then if you stop the Pro model, the Hobby would still be running faster.
