So far I have been happy with the GD&T. I have only used the true position and flatness and it seems to do great. I did notice that it is important to have a very square part to get accurate hole sizes and keep your cutting tools sharp so that the machine can detect edges properly. It can zoom in very close so poor finishes can get unreliable readings.
@@AnaCosta-gk4yw The LM 1000 version of this machine can measure height. It uses the cameras and high performance zoom/focus to accurately measure height, even flatness. I use calibration gage blocks to verify and it it can get to .0001 or better with height accuracy. It can measure in places where a depth mic blade can't get into.
