      ...now that we have gold, I will definitely use it for ice fishing, when I fish deeper or when the water is not crystal clear :) It's going to be a great second color to have with me...can't' wait :)

    Hello Ivo. Me and my family LOVE fishing. Wheather it's hot,wet, in a big body of water. Or small creeks. We live in Central Illinois. We mostly get bluegills,bad,and catfish. We recently started keeping them,filleting them. And eat them😋 but I have a question. We usually find fish that have red worm-like critters on the outside of the fish,on the tails, and inside the meat. I was wondering. Do you experience this too? And can you recommend what we should do from now on. They say cook them they die, freeze them for 7 days at -4°F they die and will give no harm. But I'd like to know from a pro. Thankyou if you answer this. But good videos, I watch you all the time :)

    • @thundermistlures
      @thundermistlures  6 лет назад

      those are parasites and are common in fish, especially if the fish live in a shallow body of water....the parasites are generally safe to eat - just make sure your fish is cooked right through :) PS> glad you are enjoying our videos and thanks for tuning in :)

    Awesome as always. Do you guys ever fish for whitefish? There's a lot of them in Alberta Lakes, but I still haven't got one yet. Any tips?

    • @thundermistlures
      @thundermistlures  6 лет назад

      ...fish close to the bottom - use small jigging spoons (like the Stingnose) and if you use braided line, be sure to use a long (6 - 8 feet) fluorocarbon leader - good luck out there :)

    if you guys wanna know a good way to catch white perch, a bandit 200 or h20 express model M crankbait works well. I usually troll them behind the boat with my outboard. My boat isn't big enough for any rod holder setups, so i just hold 2 rods. I'll watch my sonar to see how deep to run the crankbaits. I'll catch largemouth, striper and catfish that way too. I average 25 fish and hour. Not sure how well it works for yellow perch, but it'll get white perch by the bushel. My friends have a blast when i take them out trolling like this. My favorite crankbait pattern is chrome/black. Try it out, it's fun.

    Dammit, I placed order for the stingnose minnows 3 different size ones now I have to get the gold ones. Also ordered the T-turns & the perch rig T-Turns. This is gonna cost me a total of $150 USD.

      ...If you have a Dicks, or a Gander Outdoors, they may have them - otherwise, you can get them online form such places like Amazon, or TackleDirect, or of course, from Thundermist Lures - you are going to love using teh Stingnose - they work great!!

    How many air bags is this guy going to blow out. I've never seen a guy talk about air bags and bulging eyes, but keeps fast reeling those poor perch up. I bet there's a bunch of smaller dead perch that were edited out.
