- This clever base might just be the ultimate tablesaw rip fence accessory. Learn how to build this auxiliary rip fence system-from start to finish. You can find complete assembly instructions in Fine Woodworking #231.
I like the idea of mounting fixtures. I already have a sacrificial fence but with a simple modification it will no longer be sacrificial. Thanks.
This is the 3rd table saw auxiliary fence idea I've seen, and it's my favorite. makes the most sense and should be the most versatile.
A real winner👍, the more I use the more impressed I am
I made that fence a year ago from the magazine article. It has been very helpful.
Thank you for taking time to share. Will make all of your stop blocks.
Just finished building one today. Great fence system.
Dude!! I love it!! I start tomorrow!! Thank You!!
@Trevor it’s the camera angle. Plus it’s a Sawstop you can’t lose anything.
Thank you for these excellent tips!
I'm going to make this jig and also make an accessory fence modeled after your "L" fence from another article. I will make slots so the L fence can be adjusted up and down as needed. Great video, I'm excited to build and start using this! Thanks!
Excellent work, thank you.
This is SIC. I love the design. The toggle clamping system just blows me away. This system promotes so much accuracy and as well, safety. This will be a major addition to my own workshop. Well done.
Thank you for another excellent video and process.
Thanks, nice jig base. Will use in the future. Thanks again.
This is the one I'm going to build - thanks for sharing
Excellent video
Good idea
Thank you! I'll build those soon!👍✅
Very nice! Will have to try this! Ty
Very handy! Thank you.
A nice bit of lateral thinking there. Cheers.
Wow that is amazing, I see one of these in my future
Great tips.
Thanks for the tip/idea
Great idea where did you buy your clamps.
When beveling why not use the tenoning jig to push the wood thru. The technique shown with the push block and sand paper looks very, very dangerous! My two cents...
Awesome video
Great idea
I understand I have to make these to fit my ripping fence but do you have drawings for the pieces you've shown? By the time I get from here to my workshop, I will have forgotten the details.
Great scott!
What clamps and model number are used here? Can't find any that will have enough throw to clamp through the Baltic birch ply
Just replace the bolt on the clamp with a longer one.
@@FineWoodworking yup did just that. Works great
Great fence system...rr
No way putting hand near the accessible blade….otherwise it’s a winner.
Nearly lost your hand at 3:40.I think a push stick rather than a push block would be better.Good ıdeas btw.
I'm investigating how to build a table saw and discovered an awesome website at Wilfs Wood Blueprint (google it if you are interested)
