Here Sriranjani presented a beautiful Virutham.. Nanmayum Selvamum in her superb tone ! The papanasam kriti - " Raamanai bhajitthal " is dung melodiously and soulfully.
Too preposterous to compare with MS Amma who nearly made this as her signature rendition. Of course, she could have taken inspiration from MS on the sangathis chosen. One other thing Sriranjani should give immediate care is the tonal quality and strength of the brighas at the higher octaves that is being rendered in a total false voice and not in an open-throated burst as is needed for Carnatic music. Her dad should be able to sort out this issue with aplomb.
