i don't like anime cos i find myself getting bored and constantly pressing the right arrow key to skip ahead by 5 seconds. I prefer manga cos i can read at my own pace. Also the fight scenes will never be as intense as the average videogame, and intense adrenaline filled action is what im looking for.

Anime isn't seen as weird in japan because the anime that get popular there are pretty normal. I have no idea why the ones that get popular here are so weird

For me I like anime but, really hate fanbase. Mostly because met many anime fans that will dismiss other work because it’s anime. For example, I met this girl who claimed Princess Jewls was better than LuckaDaisy. Purely because one is anime.

Some people just refuse to watch anime because of their closed mindedness. Some people will watch an anime and deep down they may like it but will openly refuse it because they don't want to look "nerdy or dorky" but I take "anime nerd" as a compliment. You dam right I am and if you don't like it then go ahead and close your life off to amazing stories, visuals, soundtracks, and characters. there are so many types of animes that yes even I don't like some of them but the ones I do like to me are amazing. Look for typical shows you watch and then find an anime that matches a similar style. I promise you there's one out there.

So why would I watch something that infects everyone with a virus that gives then a very unlikable sense of humour. This video also made me not wanna watch it even more because the “comedic” parts are the exact kind of comedy you expect from anime watchers. So I will stick to Riverdale and Greys anotomy because I’m a cringe normie who hates new things and has a closed unintelligent mind set.
Hey I really appreciate you commenting , I definitely agree that my attempts at jokes aren’t great , ide really like to improve the jokes in my videos . And I also agree that using the word normie is incredibly cringey but I couldn’t think of any other word to describe it . I definitely acknowledge that there are reasons to not like anime and my intent in the video wasn’t to insult people who don’t like it . But I do definitely think that there are a frustrating amount of people who decide they don’t like anime without even trying it . And the close minded part is mostly true for a lot of the older generation . But all of that is from my own experience and my perception of other peoples experiences . I really appreciate you commenting this and I think I could really improve my video

My intention making the video was to make something relatable for anime fans who just want to share what they love and feel frustrated that people are missing out on it . The video was originally titled how to get your parents into anime which is the main focus .
all you have to do is go to r/animemes and you will find all the reasons to stay away from anime. Or just treat it like any other entertainment medium and don't make it your identity, like the weebs.
I completely agree that making anime your entire identity is pretty cringe . I think it’s mostly kids who do this and I can understand why , I don’t really look down on any of them for doing it , because ultimately it doesn’t affect me and I don’t care . It is objectively cringe though .
I honestly think that anime fans can be some of the most chill and nice people . It’s just a loud minority that’s really cringe , I do see a lot of it but I try to ignore it , I don’t really participate or look at the anime community . So I could be wrong .
