How do you do to have so much lyre and to have the gobos?

    • @lightingFM

Hi Nicolas! To add the gobos I simply used a spotlight that included the "gobo" channel, make sure that gobo visualization is enabled in 3DView settings!
Could you please explain what do you mean with "to have so much lyre (lights?)" please?

The number of lights you use for your light show

I don't have at the moment the exact number of fixture I was using.
If you mean how to add so many fixtures: you have to go in Editor>Fixtures and then add all the fixture you need via the "Add fixture" button (located above the grid that displays all the channels from 1 to 512).

Do you use a DMX controller?

    • @lightingFM

SweetLight is a DMX controller software with its set of USB to DMX interfaces. However, this project was only for 3DView, so no real fixtures, cables or DMX output was involved.

Hey, how can we do pixels on the 3d viewer?

Hi Kevin! Not sure if the question is about the "Pixel" function or the rgb-object option of the 3DView.
      Either ways:
If the address of the fixtures in the Pixel page matches the address of the fixtures in the 3DView, you'll be able to see the effect when playing the Pixel scene in Live.
If you are referring to the 3D objects changing color in the visualizer, those were simple rgb tubes fixtures.
You can change how a fixture type looks in the 3D (moving head/parcan/colored object etc..) by double-clicking a fixture in the patch tab and going to "View" (there is a drop-down list of options on the right side of the page)
      Hope this helps! :D

@@lightingFM Got you. I'm looking to add a couple 8 pixel bar lights and elation matrix dotz to the 3d viewer.

Keep in mind that 3DView may not show the Madrix and other multi-source fixtures as expected. The pixel programming should work fine.

@@lightingFM yeah, I wanted my pixel fixtures to be represented exactly like in this video.

Thanks , I'll have to find a work around. Hopefully in another update.

To create a similar look you can create each lamp as a single fixture. That's how I do those effects in some of my videos where I want to have 2-Lites or 4-Lites blinders
