Malpelo Dive Expedition 2021 (INTRO) 4K

What is your wildest dream? For me it was to dive with sharks. I've always been fascinated by these majestic creatures and after diving for almost 30 years in various places around the world, I had never encountered bigger sharks, different species of shark or larger groups...Until now...Until Malpelo Island - off the coast of Colombia.
We saw White Tip Reef Sharks, Silky Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, schools of Hammerheads and the giant but gentle Whale Shark! And that wasn't all...It was very refreshing to again see starfish, lobsters, large schools of Jacks, Snappers, Tuna and Barracuda, Spotted Eagle Rays, Golden Eagle Rays(!), humongous Manta Rays - and all that while constantly tripping over swimming and hunting Moray Eels...
Luckily that wasn't all. Just getting to this interesting bald rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean was already an adventure and the 30 hour boat ride gave everyone the opportunity to get to know all the other fun and passionate divers from various countries. It also gave us the opportunity to (mentally) prepare for the intense week long live aboard with 3 dives per day: Resting, gearing up, briefings about Malpelo, its wildlife, the conditions and of course safety.
All that was constantly lovingly supported by the friendly staff and crew on board of the Sea Wolf: warm smiles, delicious food and non stop professional support - before, during and after all dives.
For me this was more than a dream come true. It was like dreaming while living the dream! This movie is a pleasant memory of that dream and is dedicated to all the awesome, passionate divers I met during this amazing journey.
So put on some headphones and enjoy! And remember to always make your own dreams come true!

My amazing Colombia trip has sadly come to an end and I'm back home again.
