Take it from an old man New Jack swing has the 16th notes shuang almost to a triplet feel you do that by pushing every other 16th note almost to where the triplet would land.. hi hats kick Bass all need that done on my old MPC 2000xl I believe that was 73 to 75 swing. Percentage.
Bruh.... I literally found your stuff like a day or two ago. Been taking a hiatus on music for years but I think I'm ready to jump back into it. I was literally thinking earlier at work "I wonder if I commented on one of his videos to do New Jack Swing would he think about it?" ain't no way!
Nice! If you like that kind of beats, you should definitely check the Korg M1 VST emulation, the M1 was the core of most R&B/New Jack Swing records of that era.
I want to use these bits for loops on a school assignment. Is there a way I could get each track as a loop so I can throw them into soundtrap? It's so fire!
That sounds so 90's. How come music don't sound like this anymore?
Because things change
Times change, unfortunately. 😕😔😢
It’s not the 90s
@@juggz3736it is
cause the new radio trend is lazy music
Teddy Riley is the Father and the purest form...And NJS is not just Hip Hop and R&B fused it's deeper than that...🙏🏿

You killed it bro
nice, only thing I would say is NJS tracks tend to swing more, arent so straight on beat and have more percussion, also the sound is less dark.
of course, at the beginning I made reference to BBD "Do Me Baby" which chords were pretty dark. This track was more based off that.
Can you do a mj type of new jackwing
I was legit hearing a teddy riley inspired beat in my head earlier and was wondering how’d I create something like it… The Universe 🧘🏽♂️… Thank you
