      1397304 yea bro , your guna love it ...its a true 12v , really small and compact ..not as small as the bosch brushless , but way more powerful

    Makita is growing their 12v line

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад

      Logan P yes they are Logan...alot of the tools believe or not are from there old 12v line (white models ) which are really underrated if you ask me ..but the big issue is the battery platform..a 1.3 ah battery max just isnt big enough to power them long enough ...some are exact clones of the old line

  • @daigoldsack1254
    @daigoldsack1254 6 лет назад +1

    Couldn’t agree more got the old brushed version just before the brushless 1 came out had to have it brilliant little impact

    You should try to get ahold of one of the original 12v makita impacts with the red ni-cd battery and compare it to the new ones. It would be interesting to see how it does against the new tools.

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +2

      I have the white 12v line .. really compact and useful no doubt ..but as with everything in power tools ... more power equals more sales ...

      @Xixu.co.6 7 лет назад +2

      They made one way before that, around 1999-2000 i believe. Really ugly little things lol. I've never seen one in action though

    So Glad that Someone Finally did a review on this Little Powerhouse. I just bought this a couple of weeks ago tool only from tool nut for $109.00 W/ 10% off discount. Little pricy but boy it really feels good in the hand well balanced. ergonomics etc. I was trying to hold out for the combo kit w/ the drill and charger batteries ect. but not sure when or if they will come out with it. i think they have a european version with the drill and charger ect. But not here yet.

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +2

      +2davydo hey buddy yea. .makita tools are one of my favorite brands cause of the feel .. usually not the most powerful, but i think makita executives have seen Milwaukee's growth and rep for power ..in last year makuta has now released the most powerful impact wrench on market and now strongest 12v impact ...BUT .. Milwaukee versions will be out in next few months we will have to see

  • @dada8187

    @TOOLBOSS I know I'm kinda late but do you think you can give us a size comparison of this and the XDT15? I've been thinking about grabbing one of these so I can just throw it in a backpack tool bag for on the go type of situations. I'd like to see if it's worth purchasing. Or if I should just be content with my Makita Black.

    I can't believe I've never seen this video. It just popped up. This is the impact I use everyday. Yeah when I use it people say "I didn't know Makita made a brushless 12v impact". They only know Milwaukee, Dewalt etc.😃

    Is the brushed a little skinnier? How does the new 12v brushless compare to makita sub compact regarding actual size?

  • @rpaull3
    @rpaull3 4 года назад +1

    I will never buy a brushed tool again! I mean let's face it my brushed makita drill ain't gonna die. But seriously the 12v makita line is sooooooooooooo cute! My dad got the recip saw. I might get my mom the brushless impact 12v

    so boss question for you? i use the milwaukee fuel 12v impact under sinks for garbage disposals because its small compact and powerful. in your honest opinion ia this makita better than the fuel? i need to know because i wanna pick it up this weekend at my local depot its only 139

    I hope makita will upgrade their 12v line with Star Protection

    • @michielsanders4178
      @michielsanders4178 4 года назад

      Lestr i beleive it already is standard on the cxt line. The star protection on the lxt is only to show the difference to the old ones.
      The cxt line already has 3 connection pins on the machine, like the star lxt machines. The none star lxt have yust 2 connections.

      and what do you think of the milwaukee insulated screwdrivers and non-insulated nutdrivers? any experience with them? you make my wallet cry on alot of your videos, i always want something new you show.

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад

      cole mayes lolol...you kno with all the screwdriver vids ive been doing i may get the Milwaukee screwdrivers...that being said , they look solid , BUT $30 for 3 ..i think the wiha is a better deal even the weras ...but honestly ive never used them , but the price point seems a little high , when wiha and other german companys pretty much dominate that segment

  • @vicever08
    @vicever08 4 года назад

    RPM is not comparable if the rotational hammer has different weight. The hammer is a lot lighter for a 12V driver compared with a 18V driver.

    i love you tool boss but who the fuck actually uses and waste their money on 12v plats....(aka platforms) the price difference between 12 and 18 is negligible..... plus the price to performance... im a computer guy who builds furniture and patios plus gazebos but this drill makes no sense to me other then a random DIY for a picture frame...............

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +6

      mrtydomNoscope wow ...many many many trades use these 12v tools mostly mechanics and electricians ....so who the hell buys them ...are millions.. are trust me ...they wouldn't be made or produced... business 101 if it dont make profits ..dont make it

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +3

      matt lippincott yes Matt ...they are to compliment other tools and platforms ...matt hit on head ...also everyone is power hungry..these 12v tools , drils n impacts etc now have more than enough power and torque to handle 90%of the work out there ...its the other 10% why im here and you guys watch ...the tool industry would be dead if people just bought what they needed ...its a vanity industry ...we buy tools like jeans ..or fine wine ...

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +2

      strictly talking drills and impacts of course ...wanna make that clear ..😉😉

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +1

      Me too matt ...i love Bosch's 12v line , but there just not enough tools in the line to invest .. they are true 12v. But these makita 12v brushless tool are amazing

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +2

      matt lippincott no problem matt ...your guna love this video ...i did a showdown vid with the 6 year old brushed bosch impact and the ec bosch impact ...put it to you this way the brushed did very well...i really like the ec bosch and its size is amazing...but 940 in/lbs is a little weak ..its not bas though ..the ec bosch impact wrench is a complete waste ...id let my dog piss on it if i had a dog

    Probably the best brushless 12v drills/impacts around, but pretty pointless with the 18v subcompacts.

    • @toolboss8410
      @toolboss8410  7 лет назад +2

      greenskiis same torque as the subcompact bro .. I mentioned that a few times ...

  • @GloryOfSatan

    also the thing that kills makita in real world is the battery... yeah its made from samsung but you drop and break that battery chip board thats on the battery not the charger like other brands (Dewalt Milwaukee Ridgid RYOBI!!!! even hilti doesnt do it and they are a higher brand then snap on!!!!)you cant replace/rebuild yourself when the warranty is gone... you drop that batt or try to charge in a cold temp there is a fail safe that stops the charge and wont let you recharge below threshold... im sorry i like a couple makitas but no.... i would never recommend for that price point outside of a small side DYI
