मैं उत्तराखंड से हु , काम से पटना गया हूं .. कल छट पूजा थी , देखते देखते सुबह मैं भी घाट पर पहुँच गया , देखा कि इस महापर्व में लोग कितनी श्रद्धा से व्रत करते है , कितना खूबसूरत ये छट पूजा है .. रास्ते मे बहुत से लोग दंड काटते हुए जा रहे थे मैंने किसी से पूछा तो उन्होंने बताया कि कोई मन्नत पूरी होने पर या कोई मन्नत मांगने पर लोग अपने घर से गंगा घाट तक ऐसे ही दंड काटते हुए जाते है , और उस व्यक्ति के इर्द गिर्द जितने भी लोग चलते है वो सभी उस व्यक्ति को प्रणाम करते है , और पूरे शहर में कल शारदा सिन्हा जी का गाना लगा था जो सुनने में बहुत ही खूबसूरत था .. किसी से गाने का नाम पूछा रात को यूट्यूब में सुना तो सुकून मिला .. खूब सारा प्यार उत्तराखंड से 🙏🌼❤️जय छटी मैय्या ❤️🌼🙏

I am from rajasthan and i didn't knew anything abt this festival nor abt this culture until i went to university where i have almost 60% friends of mine from Bihar and jharkhand that's where i get to knew the essence of this festival. I never celebrated it but i can easily feel the spirit and the values of this festival carries . I am glad i have friends from every part of India. The best thing abt chat puja is that i like the songs and thekua.

I am an Odia person and we don't have Chaath, but many Odias like my mother have been doing it for a considerable time or give money for puja and bhog of Chatth mai to our Bihari friends. I followed Chhath very closely. And it is the only festival jaha ugte aur dhalte suraj dono ki importance di jaati hai.
