I've ridden all sorts of machines but it's been about 20 years since I've owned a bike though I came darned close to owning an 02 RC51sp2 a couple weeks ago had the guy not sold it right before I could check it out 😒. My last bike was a brand new 93 CBR 600. I thought it was pretty quick back in the day and it was but nothing compared to stuff like that. I did quite enjoy making all the cars look slow in comparison too. I was probably pretty stupid to run my bike wide open on the highways back then but I can't deny it was exhilarating. My 93 CBR 600 couldn't quite cracked 150 mph but pretty darn close stock. The proceeding bike I had was an 88 hurricane 600 which topped out at 138. I can recall one night getting into it with some fellows and having to make a quick exit and as they tried to pursue me on my hurricane I ran that thing about 25 miles wide open. That was my wildest fast adventure on a motorcycle. Every time I watch these bike videos I get to relive a little bit of my youth I am definitely makes me smile. Havent ridden a bike since i got my kids :( TTlemans is my head querie on youtube(please exuse my obivous gramma errors) but it always leads me to videos like this. and i truly love it! so keep postin, and dont die while your at it ;) cause i know i would with a bike that can push 400km/h (tuned h2r reference) almost hit a bus in 310km/h first time on a R1 and didnt get spooked, and all i had driven before was a honda sfx 50 for years and a 125 virago on a long trip.. anyway, i was offered the bike by the gf of a pal that was offshore cause she knew i was dreamin of ridin really fast, so she gave me the keys and i fucked up my back in the first turn doin 20-40kmh.. went home and cooled down/warmed up for an hour and drove to a nice long turn i knew of, two rounds and i was confident (smackintheface'ADD/ADHD'smiley) and straight out to the longest strech i my 'vicinity?' first run 290kmh, and around the island(35km) in avarage 200kmh then 310-314 kmh on the long stretch, but this time there was a bus on the hilltop.. probaply not the closest ive been to die, but it certainly made me aware of my lack of borders.. Man! That opening run, that H2 sounds like it's desperately trying to destroy the rear tire! BRUTAL! You guys are steeley-eyed missile men! I've got a stock 14R, and don't really want to mod it, but also don't have the money to. Apparently my bucket-list item of breaking 200 mph on my bike will remain a dream. I guarantee I'm heavier than you guys, and you guys have done some crazy modifying! If I remember correctly, my stock 14R is 189 at the wheel. And it feels mind-numbingly fast when I dump the throttle! I cannot even imagine a FIVE-HUNDRED wheel horsepower turbo 14R! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Excellent video thanks for sharing. Its pretty clear a set up h2 is usually quicker than a turbo bike to a point. Still 214 mph out of that zx14r is impressive. What I like about the h2 is the reliability of the set up. You wont be chasing boost leaks, boost creep, or lots of maintenance. Most people would be better off with the h2 unless they are mechanically inclined to keep a turbo busa/zx14r running properly.
@@joesti7607 More reliable how? Everyone that I know that has a aftermarket turbo on there bikes are always having issues. Please clarify. The bolt on h2 will last for miles and miles.
@@silverviper2184 I would guess on the reliability aspect that it could end up taking more money to keep the supercharger (and associated parts like gears, shafts, planetary drive and the dog-shifted shaft to the impellar) all in shape in the long run. The turbo is basically just less to go wrong over time, and simpler to repair when something goes wrong. Either swap out the turbo, or fix your wastegate/blow off valve/intercooler issue and it's fairly limited in scope compared to the internal stuff that can go wrong with a centrifugal supercharger. If any 1 of those internal parts breaks it can have a domino effect forcing you into a much bigger problem. Or not even if something breaks but just normal maintenance on it to keep it working optimally.
Joe, congrats on your success! TBH I'm just sick.... I live 10 miles from Rantoull but was traveling for work. While traveling I got a call from my Kawi dealer saying my 2021 H2 Carbon just came in!!! I wanted to attend the event in Rantoul but the timing didn't work out. One of my buddies was there and sent pics of two H2's. I had no clue you were the owner of one. I would have loved to chat with you about set up. My goal is to hit 200mph. Talk about as missed opportunity.☹ Thanks for the great videos.
Damn Joesti, you catching bodies on with the Terminator. Damn impressive runs, especially from a dig. I have to say this that itself shows the raw talent you possess because not many can launch bikes let alone a H2. Respect
This would be so much fun. Wish something like it was held near me. Or a track, of any kind... even though my 150whp bike wouldn't be anywhere near this, it would still be fun to see what it can do.
Great video, Joe. I an so envious !!!! I wish I could do this.... I love speed, but even in my younger days, I'm not sure I could handle your bike.... but I think I could have tried......
in 1984 my 1985 GPz750 turbo ran consistent 7.70s @ 178 with a 9 x 24 slick and Mike Bruso wheelie bars. Set up for racing like this Im certain your H2 would have stood no chance. This was going on 40 years ago at an NMRA sanctioned event in Gainesville Florida. Your bike has so much more to give with doing nothing more than having a software engineer reprogram your computer. As far as the engine is concerned Im sure theres a lot of potential horsepower in it too. To be honest 300 wheel horsepower isnt all that great, especially considering my 750 turbo was putting 450 to the ground with 810ccs on a Superflow dyno at Coyote Engines in Pompano Beach Florida before Harold Grady moved to Gainesville. Every time your boost pressure cracks 14.7 psi at the intake valve your engine doubles in atmospheric pressure and the theoretical displacement doubles. My 750 turbo was putting 52 psi at the intake have which is 3 atmospheres so it was actually 2340ccs. Understanding psychics and being able to calculate trigonometry and calculus is vital to building a forced induction engine. Your engine would actually make more horsepower with 4 individual pipes like a top fuel dragster than a 4 into 1 header. Its costing you horsepower and does not scavenge the intake charge because the blower is forcing it up against the valve face before the valve opens. Retarding your intake cam timing will actually make more top end horsepower. And dont even start me on the ZX14s turbo Id probably lmao at how wrong it is if I ever took a close look at it.
0:15 - 0:23 sounds so menacing. Imagine you've never ridden those machines, and those are your adversaries. They're finished with you and then take off Fast and Furious style as you hear blistering speeding machines pass you as your heart races.
@@joesti7607 don't forget 765 did 9.3 @151 mph It is gonna be good race if you wanna make it happen I mean it was so hard to beat a 720s with a BMW S1000rr and stock H2 is bit faster than s1krr

Nice videos. 200+ is phenomenal. On your last run, you had a slight hesitation about 3/4 of the way through 4th gear. Fuel shortage? I didn't replay, but I think one of your earlier runs it did the same thing.
I'd be curious to know what fuel you guys use (I know next to nothing about motorcycle engines) and if you could possibly squeeze out some more mph by switching to higher end race fuels (If you aren't already using them) like Ignite E90 or VP Q16 for the turbo bike.
Race fuel makes a huge difference on boosted bikes . 350 is about the limit on good quality pump fuel. Race fuel on high boost can make 3 times that safely.

I held my breath on all your runs plus found myself shifting...crazy !
For traction and lifting the front have you changed any of your suspension settings? You'd be amazed at what a good suspension setting does!
I've got an 05 ZZR1200 with 187 whp and I can't imagine a bike with 330 whp no less then one with 500+ whp like that 1400. Sounds crazy but damn fun!
Fastest I've ever been on a bike was 179 and there was a lot of pucker factor going on, watching you guys run over 200 is just in another league!
Loved this video and all it did was make me even more eager for you to get your busa Jesus I can’t wait…
Man watching those handle bars wiggle reminds me of a few times I pushed my bike and it felt so sketch the handle bars started pulling left and right. Guess the steering dampener is doing it’s job pretty good
Congratulations dude, makes me wish I had my youth back.
Thanks man.
I’ve been 227 MPH. on a abandoned airport runway I know what your feeling…
So many people hate on the 14. But this video shows that with proper tuning, displacement is still King!
I love these bikes! Love it even more when it's off the street!
Dude your bike is a savage! Really want to see what it will do on a mile run. What a rocket ship 🚀
Thanks! I would definitely like to do one but most events near me are only half mile
Unreal that the chain and other parts can hold together at such speeds.. Unreal!!
Damn thing is flying! looks good so far keep it up man can't wait to see that busa!
Dudeee the bike just fly. It just go sooo fast and it sounds so great. ❤
Hey woah
Like I said earlier, tire compound is very important too.Not to 🐕 soft and not to hard.outstanding
I ride on track a new GSXR 1000 and find that fairly quick trying to keep the front down - those bikes are another level!
I just bought a z900 and I know I’ll be happy with that, I’m gonna strive to get a R1 or zx10r. Nice bikes man and definitely nice runs
Soon after i got my firstborn and got to terms with what i cant do.. witch is ridin myself ;d so keep putting out the goodstuff! its a thrill wathing it, and i obviously want to see more :D ('have a savings accout just for this shit for my midlifecrisis in 10 years) sry for sharing this much, but u got me B)
'
I thought that Vette hit the brakes when you passed him! Holy crap bro, that’s a fast fast bike. Wow
Thanks for the rush dude, put a smile on
My face! Very nice.
Awesome runs! Congratulations!!! 😎👍
Just amazing to watch the bikes going by at 200+. Looks unreal like a ufo hauling ass. Too much!
Most people would be better off with the h2 unless they are mechanically inclined to keep a turbo busa/zx14r running properly.
i think the turbo bike would be more reliable long term. either bike tho you gotta pay to play.
Those runs are insane!! Like you said, the H2 is "Violence on 2 wheels"!!! BTW, who is your earplug sponsor?? ;-)
Hopefully you’re enjoying the h2! It’s a hell of a bike. Let me know if you need any tips😁
Did it feel different once you had the stabilizer installed? I’m thinking of getting one on my turbo GSXR
What is done to your H2 to make 300whp? Exhaust, filter, blower gears, tune? Who did the tuning and what blower gears?
I rode the grandfather of the ninja, the Gpz that had the ram air design, and yeah the ninja scream at full tilt is addictive!!!
so glad i found your channel, just got my license and a 650 ninja....but i have serious goals now!! lol. keep the vids coming dude.
Don't b stupid n the city.....hwy only with minimal traffic or track.....alot of guys n wheelchairs for life...
Congrats on joining the 200+ CLUB JoeSTi. 🇺🇸👏
Thanks!
@@joesti7607 make sure to check your kill lanyard next time each run 😉
@@TOPSPEEDBUSA ya I wasn’t used to wearing it lol. I’ll make sure to check that next time
Dayuum your having so much fun with that h2 kawi
How do you find these half mile track events like you're doing? I live in central illinois and I wanna hit up a track like that
0:15 - 0:23 sounds so menacing. Imagine you've never ridden those machines, and those are your adversaries. They're finished with you and then take off Fast and Furious style as you hear blistering speeding machines pass you as your heart races.
Very good runs
Do you have any stock H2 that you can race McLaren 765LT? I want to h2 vs 765 bad
I have an h2 I am doing flash and tune currently but it will probably wreck a 765
@@joesti7607 don't forget 765 did 9.3 @151 mph
It is gonna be good race if you wanna make it happen
I mean it was so hard to beat a 720s with a BMW S1000rr and stock H2 is bit faster than s1krr
@@joesti7607 Please built this for isle man of TT.and full throttle in TT.
Congrats on 207.mph joesti!you about to gap 650ib😂🤣
Thanks!
Would this bike beat Tesla plaid 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile?
Great job getting into the 200+ club. Where was this WannagoFast event. Thank you joe.
Thanks! it was rantoul IL
Haulin the mail boiz that was impressive for sure
As I’m feeling like a boss at 198, could not crack 200, I see 207 and 214 🤨. Great job guys! I will get that 200 shirt this year, I went broke over winter to get it, hurry up weather!
WOW you ran that Corvette down big time!!
Sheit dude 300 and 500 whp thats nuts, dude your h2 is a f*kin rocket. Grats man 👍.
Nice hits and riding bro. Excellent numbers.
Dauummm. I’m a speed demon, but that’s just ridiculously fast in a half mile. Seeing the tall end of the track gives a pretty good perspective to just how much ground is flying by.
Love it! 150 shakes my brain
I love when you make those cars sad. Can't wait to see that busa build.
How don't you have more subs??? haha nice video man
Thanks! hopefully my channel keeps climbing!
Fun video👍👍 you need another 25hp to use that 40 tooth sprocket. Hell ya !!!!!
Joe STI your bike is the king😎
Man I think its time for GP shift with this half mile deal! Slot easier to shift down than up when you are tucked! Try it bro!
Your videos are just sick man!
Sick is good!
God damm that was awesome on tho run, made my hair stand up on my arms lol, i used to race 2 stroke sled on ice 1/4 mile run i love it so much i miss it . Your bikes are moving that's a rush man , keep up the gd work, drop that sprocket down a tooth get more outta it.
This bike is pretty much a time machine, you should come to santa pod drag strip!
