That is some outrageous shooting for the 22-250. One of my favorite calibers
Thanks Stan
Same I still have a soft spot for the 220 swift but you don’t gain a lot on a good 22/250
With heavy bullets a good barrel and the highest quality optics easy
Mine too. BVSS model 12 , I love Mine ! ! My best prairie dog shit with mine , was 745 ....
I love it all, but the drone flights, putting the distance in perspective are sublime! 😄👍
Thanks Dennis
Third one in the second group of five hit the target outstanding these videos are a joy to watch better than all these damn prepping videos in the US
Cheers Mark, thanks
Who doesn't like a 22-250.
Yep, Cheers
25-06 users lol no both are very good round s
90gr bullets with the appropriate twist in a 22-250 is a definite long range contender!
yep, Cheers
Man that action sounds like butter 🧈
Howa does a decent action for sure, Cheers
I'm running out of superlatives for what you guys achieve 👏👍
Cheers Dave, thanks man
90 grains. I did not know they made them that heavy. At 3200 FPS, that is better than the 243 and 6 CM. All of that off a .250 Savage cartridge that is 107 years young! Great shooting by the way sir.
Thanks Magnus, glad you liked, Cheers
MY BROTHER AND SISTER ... !!!!!! YOU JUST AMAZE ME ... 22-250 , OH WOW... !!!!! GREAT VIDEO ... !!!!!! DOUBLE G. ..! ! ! THANK YOU ..!!!!!!!!!
Cheers Gary, thanks
And once again I thought I was doing good getting my 22 250 out to 1000m 😄 you guys are amazing and I'm so proud that you are Aussies well done guys
Thanks Joe, Cheers
Good GRIEF, that is a fast little cartridge!! Three seconds to cover that distance, and to hold so close to center. (Of course, the shooter & team are dead-on, too!) Nicely done.
Thanks Kurt, Cheers
Awesome hot round, self loading to find that sweet spot load weight brings back fond memories
Cheers
You two are amazing to watch the presizeson of your spotting and the control over your weapon is amazing.
Thanks Dave
I got my Dads Savage 12ss 22-250 after he passed!! Man i love that thing!! Shoots nice and little recoil!
Awesome, Cheers
Thank you Mark and Sam for your wonderful shooting of this small cartridge.
thanks Cam
Well done! One of my favorite rifles.
Cheers
Extra-nice video, Mark & Sam. I got the feeling of the cool morning, breeze and low sunshine. It emphasises how the conditions are the challenge (not just the distance).
Thanks Justin
Just showed video to my better half and she reckons I've got to lift my game cheers
Lol, Cheers Man
Brilliant stuff guys. Always a pleasure to watch you shoot👍
Thanks Waldo, Cheers
Nice to see the 22 putting in the work.
Thanks Man
Great shooting!!! I'm in the middle of a build for a 22-250 AI now with a 1-7" just for trying those bullets. Can't wait for it to be done.
Cheers
Another great video.
Sam does a great job spotting 👍🏼
Sure does, cheers
Great work, I simply struggle spotting at 150yds, geez that's sweet.
Cheers Russ
Another great job... the 22250 is the number one caliber here for coyote and other varmint hunting... it's a wicked round
Awesome, Cheers
I can't believe how close you were on your first shot - that's incredibly good shooting!
Cheers Man
Impressive platform m&s. Those Oryx look the goods
Yes, good deal for this one, Cheers
Nice it doesn’t take much wind to throw off a little 22 cal bullet
Cheers
I love this rig. Happy to take it off you hands at any time! Keep up the good work.
Lol, Cheers
I hope people understand the complexity of that shot with a 22 caliber bullet
Thanks again, Cheers
I've never shot this cartridge. It's amazing how light the recoil is on that caliber even with so much more propellant behind it than the standard 223.
Recoil what you can see ruclips.net/video/hCyAFBdlPCw/видео.html
@@markandsamafterwork Thanks for the reply and info!
More than I would expect from the 22-250
Cheers
Your videos are a joy to watch. Would like to know types of scopes and power. Thanks for your time from this North Carolinian.
Listed in or below video Russ, Cheers
Pretty cool. Hard to get them little bullets to be consistent with the wind.
Cheers
Next up, Mark and Sam throw rocks at 400m. All kidding aside, I always learn more and more each vid. Keep it up
Thanks Rob, Cheers man
Wow. You guys do some incredible work.
Cheers man
Great shooting. An amazing array of weapons. It'd be impressive if it was the same rifle. It's more so that you shoot different platforms.
Thanks Man, glad you like, cheers
That's some amazing shooting
Thanks Sterling
Taking the old 22 to stretch it's legs. Nice.
Lol, Cheers
Great video Mark and Sam.
Thanks West
Nice shooting! Thank you.
Thanks Rich
Good shooting. Thanks for the video
Thanks Dwayne. Glad you liked. Cheers
So good my friend
Cheers Walter
MARK!!!! Again mate. That was ridiculously good... Those are some interesting shells mate THANKYOU
Cheers Cam

Cheers Mike
This would be a coyotes worst nightmare around where I live... LOL Good shooting and great video as always keepem coming guys!!!
Cheers Dan, thanks man
4:42 "OH, that sounded like a ding" 😊
Yep, lol, Cheers
I love, love 22.250🥰
Awesome, Cheers
Thanks for sharing and showing us what can be done with 'old obsolete' cartridges when you build around them appropriately.
I find it slightly annoying that manufacturers won't make the same heavy barreled appropriately stocked 'varmint rifle' with a faster twist barrel for the 'tactical shooters' and their heavy/long bullets, and instead only give you an option that requires tooling up for a new cartridge. You just feed that frustration more and more with these projects 😅✌️
If you only use off the shelf items, you need to follow the sales team, they have new rifles and ammo for them every year, lol, Cheers
Great shooting as always.
Thanks Man
You sir have the Cadillac of rifles. It’s so fine leaves me speechless!
🙏👍👍
My friend said the same thing about my riffle. It's a savage 12vss. Look it up I'd your so inclined.. although I'm starting to question my twist rate.. I believe mine is 1:12. It's fantastic for the lighter bullets I run.. I doubt I could appropriately push anything heavy enough to make this shot.
Great!!! Now I gotta get mine out and see if I can do the same thing, guess I better get some loaded up
Lol, cheers
nice work
Cheers
Mark and Sam …….. pushing little bullets to see how far they will go before they just give up and fall out of the sky . LoL 😂 Great shooting
Cheers
Amazing!
Cheers
Was this in SA? I was there back in 2018 and loved it, only about 500mi from the furthest point on the planet from home. It's strange when everything in your surroundings is the opposite, yet you still feel at home with the locals, I really didn't expect that. Excellent shots, you two work great together, and greetings from Michigan.
Western Australia
Beautiful...🙏🖤
Cheers
Must feel like therapy shooting something like this after that .505 Gibbs😊
Lol, yep, Cheers
One of my faves this and the 250-3000
Cheers
Would be so cool to shoot with you guys! Travel to Australia for shooting holiday with Mark & Sam?
Holiday..Whats that, Lol, thanks John, Cheers
You guys are awesome!
Cheers Ed
👏👏👏👏👏👏 mais uma vez show 😸!!!!!
Thanks Beto, Cheers
As always, superb
Thanks Aiden
Next 22 short - 1000 yards challenge. Just kiddin'😛. Great shooting man👍💯
22lr at 1000 on the channel, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork I know ;)
I'd love to see a close up of your ammo compared to the nearest factory ammo. Just to get an idea of how different the load are
Cheers
The loads are so different from factory they actually hit the target! 😂
Awesome is right.
Cheers
A very few can outshoot me, but I must concede.
Cheers
GREAT Shooting 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers Dave
nice.......................
Cheers
Uwielbiam was oglądać 👍
Pozdrawiam.
Thanks Adam, Cheers
Fabulous.
Thanks Paul
Well done 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Man, Cheers
I love these vids you’ll have to do the Aussie thing and take a 303/25 out to 2000yds
Cheers
I am just thing of things and you did it almost a year ago.
🤣👍👍
What is the twist rate? Must be 1:8 at least. Factory 22/250 is 1:12. Here in Ireland we were stuck with the 22/250 REM cartridge for deer from 1972- 1993 ( torture), no reloading= many lost deer. The only other permitted was the 5.6x57RWS, most could not afford, because of the price of the rifles so chambered and the price of the ammo ( 22/250 x 4).
1: 7.7 Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork wow! 1:7.7, that will do it. Thank you. Things have changed here for the better. I now have a 270 Win calibre Steyr b/a for deer and a 308 win Benelli s/a for driven boar ( in mainland Europe). Really enjoy your content.
Use to shoot Coyotes with my grandpa using the 22-250 love that round
Awesome, Cheers
My main concern was such light bullet at long distance could easily be affected by the wind
Not really the case, low bc is bad, 90grn .22cal is not a low bc bullet, Cheers
Well done. Wow.!! 90grn in a 22-250. !!
Yep, glad you liked, Cheers
I've got 60 grain Nosler Partitions, but those 90 gainers are obviously custom loads,Berger bullets are some of the finest quality, IMO nice shootin!!
Man, talk about challenging yourself, I know you could have any custom caliber of your choice and I prefer my special purpose long range wildcats but ....
One thing I like about your ELR vids is you often use basic standard chamberings.
6BR, 7 Mag, 22-250 etc and without even using an 80X March scope lol
It's fun to watch your vids.
Thanks Man, glad you like them, Cheers
Awesome video guys who does all your rifle builds
Thanks Mark, we do our own builds, Thompson Gunsmithing does most the barrel work, Cheers
Cool
Cheers
👍💯
Cheers
22creedmoor velocities with a 22-50 non AI impressive to say the least. I guess a 22creedmoor is obsolete for you guys.
Yep, we are happy here, lol, Cheers
Great video guys. What beautiful part of Australia are you based?
York WA, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork fantastic, thanks for the reply 👍👍
Excellent shooting and beautiful camera work.
Thanks Greg, glad you liked, Cheers
Wow
Cheers
How many grains of 2209 do you have to jam in the case to achieve 3200fps with 90gn projectile??? She must be running pretty hot...🤘👊
Enough, lol, we have videos on how we work out what works best, but we don't offer loads sorry, Cheers
Cool.
Cheers
22-250👍💪😀😃
thanks Man, Cheers
The 110m Savage 22-250 the guys at the range ,,Hate me, Because I have a Mizzle Brake on it...😮😅
Cheers
Love that calibre I one in a ackley Good Canoga crop behind you there
Cheers Dave
At what distance is that rifle zeroed, please?
100
Thank you.
Relationship goals, a shooter and spotter also married. Love your videos, very impressive long range. How do you find the 22-250 muzzle break. do you think its necessary ?
Thanks Shane, Cheers
👍😊🎯22 ok
Cheers
Have you messed with the 25-06 at all?
no
Why not .22x cal? Yep it works👍👍
Lol, Yep
May I ask, what kind of a scope you use for that distance?
Any quality long range target/tactical scope will do, what we used is written in the video, Cheers
Really hard to read info on load etc.. love my 22 250
Put your glasses on, lol, Cheers
Does heavier bullets work if barrels twist is 1:14”?
no
My .22-250 doesn't look like that. I'm sure that's the only reason mine won't hit targets at 1940 yards. 😂😂
Lol, Cheers Steve
Will u shoot the savage .220 with remington accutips
Nope, we shoot ELR, that is a hunting set up and ammo, 200-300 yards. maybe try a hunting channel, Cheers
