A colored neighborhood? Where are you the 1960s? Dyckman just like most of the US is diverse! Surprise most Dominicans Puerto Ricans, Hispanics from the Caribbean and South America, have African roots which explains most of the beautiful melanated beings you see. I need you to come out of the 60s for real 😒
Used to be a better place back in the day until mid 90’s when violence took over Dyckman . Not fun at all like before can’t walk without thinking something someone is watching u
Back in what day? I grew up in Inwood and it was a violent hell hole when I was a kid (74-92). Now back in my mother's day when she grew up on Academy (42-92) was a whole other story.
As someone who lives nearby, it is sooo loud there. I feel for the people in the apartments above the restaurants.
Such a cool night out... looks real fun. hope to visit NY one day. stay connected my friend!
You should! Tons of people all over the place and a lot going on. 😊

Yes, it is racially diverse. White colour, Black colour and everything in between. 😊

I kinda felt edgy too while walking and opening filming people. Thankfully, nothing bad happened.
