I went to New York for the first time in November 1997. The weather was very cold. At that time, I stayed at my friend's house in Manhattan. In that cold, homeless people were sleeping in closed ATMs and begging. I was very upset, but these situations continue as they are. Greetings from Istanbul...

I was born in Brooklyn NY (Flatbush) in 1961. I was later sent to live with my biological father in the later 60s early 70s in Miami, Florida. I have been going back and forth to the city since then. I'm 63 now and I still miss the city life. I might move back before I move on from this plain.
