"The only way I'll ever get the Grandmaster title is hours spent with a therapist." Then do it my guy! That probably means there are other aspects of your life that would benefit from that kind of intense therapy. Plus I can't tell you how hyped we'd be to see you do well in tournaments again. That's the Gotham content I'm craving.
Levy is a good chess player, no doubt. But the more I watch him play, it seems like he plays more of a defensive positional game as opposed to an attacking/aggressive game. Opponent's pieces move into his territory more often than he moves into opponent's territory. He's letting his opponent dictate the game.
He's also trying to interact with his chat and make content, so theoretically there's easier content when he can defend and prolong the match, analyzing his opponents moves for the audience
"I played Anish Giri and i won!1!1!1!1!!11!11" -Anish impression of Levy, sincerely, i wouldn't be surprised if Levy won and made a video titled like that
You can do better than draw.for example you wanted to move your rook to b8 after your knight getting captured so you move your rook to c8 then Anish should capture your knight then you move your rook to b8.lts like wasting a move or like you mouse slip back.
It's interesting how the mind works, because for me I'm actually the opposite and tend to play better vs higher rated opponents than I do against people worse than me, I understand that I'm expected to lose so there's no pressure and I also find I can concentrate better, however when playing someone I'm expected to beat that's where I feel pressure!
Yeah but that's what happens for us plebs at the lower elo level, even I do well against people higher rated than me cause at our level people are prone to errors, but at the top level the difference between gm and im is different
For not being a GM . You sure playing a few. Magnus got to be coming up. I'll ask kramnick the GM of mathematics to figure when you will play Magnus in some event most likely TT
You sometimes play the opponent, and you over worry about their strengths and your perceived weaknesses. Whereas I like it when you play the board and let yourself loose. I hope to see more content like this, great players going at it but with a running dynamic commentary, it’s very entertaining. Thank you!
Hikaru will chesse out a win every time. Gotham is a man of principles - he'd be the peasant warrior in Middle Ages who sneaks up behind the enemy king, and slits his own throat.
Should take a lesson from Hans, he thinks he is better than everyone (which eventually might be true) and overcomes that issue you have with confidence.
both of you did impressions of each other in real time on your own streams at the start of the game, a thing of beauty.
Anish:cursed with draw
Levy: blessed by draw
04:40 Anish giri dosen't want your knight, he only wants pawns.

I think so too

When I play csgo, and valorant when I played it, whenever I got higher rated players I always did so much better with that added pressure
been waiting for this game for sooooo long
Anyone know if there's a way to see Anish's POV?
Probably twitch or wherever he streams
ruclips.net/video/JTYg2st6y_M/видео.html is Anish's stream
@@throx From that we find that Anish Giri was *not* trying to go for the draw.
30th hell yeah I was just hoping for another Gotham Games and it popped into existance
I love watching Levy suffer 😂💀
the sleep gambit
Imagine losing 15 points in a draw
"This is gonda guys!"
Levy succeeds on getting a draw with Anish Giri! lets goooo!
What was the reason for emote only chat
Maybe no spoilers (of other peoples game) or something or that Gotham chess gets distracted by a message don’t know tho.
levy never fails to mouse slip
Bro watch the video first
@@shuvro40brow brow brow
It’s getting old
But it was Giri who slipped not levy
okay
you were scared to lose down a piece, the draw was good for you hahahah
I love your channel levy
The fact that you both mimicked each other 🎉
Good sportsmanship 👍
It’s ok it happens
Why is levi playing an amish girl?
randomly
"My confident level is zero" said the person with 4 Million subscriber.
Bro levy didnt care abt his time
anish could have played for the dirty flag
That game cost him his 3000 rating
You could just waste a tempo and let him capture your knight
magnus would annihilate anish after that.
Thanks for the video. =]
mouse-slip XD omg...
Why can't you offer a draw?
Both speak fluent russian
I_also_did_this_many_times_and_i_broke_my_mouse_or_threw_it_in_toilet_combord
just weird to give the draw like that as he would never give it to you my guy.
(smile)

Kinda miss Guess The ELO

Levy try mushrooms it will make you GM.
В конце ремикс на Ирину Аллегрову играл? Ставь лайк, если тоже заметил 😂
Did anish lose 15 points for a draw?
Like 👍🏻 just for the good fair play👏🏻👏🏻
You should really run for GM
Lol i gave a draw to a guy who mouseslipped today also 🤷🏽♂️
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
im sorry, but a mouse slip is a regular/normal mistake, should be counted as anything else.
super offended, but thanks for the content.
i said but uhhuhuhhuhuhu hhuhuhuh
Guys hans has a RUclips channel now if you want to see some better chess content!
Draw by repetition is fine, but letting your clock run is just stupid.
