Wow, just wow. The idea of a successful axis infiltration of the continental United States is creepy enough in its own right, never mind a friggin Japanese super soldier for a change. But the icing on the cake was definitely the battle between Katsuro and the swamp beast. For once I’m cheering on the cryptid! Fantastic work as always!
And here we see the first Pacific Theater related episode! I’d love to see more episodes focused on the Pacific(although technically this is North Carolina and therefore on the opposite side of the continent lol). The Creature of Scape Ore Swamp type-lizard man was a pretty cool addition as well.
That was an excellent story with enough of reference to real Japanese weapons to make you stop and think. The super sub, the medical research department and even the interaction between the sailors and the scientists have a ring of reality. Even the monster attack, I seem to remember a Japanese retreat through one of the island swamps where the soldiers were repeatedly attacked by man eating crocks reducing the number of survivors substantially. Just one small glitch, the excellent artwork of the interior of the car is a perfect reproduction of a 1955 Ford and I expect the story was set in 1945. The one small blemish in a masterpiece.
Well, I just have to say....." That was Awesome!!!" OH man ! Thank you for a great and amazing masterpiece! My veteran brother is on hospice and really enjoys listening to these works of art. He doesn't have much time left but each of these stories makes him smile and I can't thank you guys enough. Keep up the great work it has made a difference.
A alligator-like cryptid fighting an Imperial Japanese superhuman samurai in a swamp. 26:00 _Me, knowing history like I do, and how well the Imperial Japanese fared in swamps in the Pacific theater against gator cousins, saltwater crocodiles, on Ramree Island._ "Oh, Katsuro, you are SO DEAD."
Again an amazing and unique story, a brilliant take on super soldiers but the concept of a samurai warrior is brilliant. Thanks guys it was very entertaining and the channel just gets better. God bless fella's.
Awesome story I was thinking it would be some showdown between the armed forces and then hoped it would be some old voodoo entity but the cryptid was a brilliant surprise.
I think Katsuro would make for another excellent backstory candidate, seeing as the whole renaming thing and unit 731 (which mostly operated from northeast China being involved makes me think that he was Chinese before he was made into that superhuman samurai killing machine. Could be an good chance for a short set in the Japanese invasion of China, the mountains of China surely have something to offer in regards to cryptids or similar.
Wow! I just had to write to say how crazily good this was! That swamp creature thing just came outta left field and gave this story an epic ending! Good work!
This was a wild ride from start to finish. Not going to lie you had me in the first half. Japanese super soldier weapon sent on a mission to wreak havoc, ok. But Japanese super soldier vs swamp cryptid, I have no words. Just amazing, this is why I love this channel and it's content
(Sees Katana(Naganata) traditional Japanese sword like thing in thumbnail) Please be an Oni, please be an Oni If its not that's ok too. 👌 can't wait for the premiere guys
Great story. Totally unexpected climax, another creature. Kind of like Japanese Frankenstein meets the Creature From The Black Lagoon. Really enjoyed this. BTW. Thanks for arising at such an obscene hour to appear on the Spaced Out Radio livestream for us weirdos and low lifes who infest the chat.
Guess this "Katsuro" is the Imperial Japanese answer and equivalent to the infamous yet hindsightfully necessary SPARTAN-II and SPARTAN-III programs. (And if anyone asks, DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT TV SERIES. *ahem* Please.) Old Man Oliver called it this time around. Good for him... pity.
This totally gripped me. I also really enjoy the art style, the colours are not too bright, but still vibrant enough to make it pleasant. Amazing video.
Good damn stuff....I had a feeling a swamp beast( I was thinking a dogman type or a sasquatch type but the lizard was better!) was gonna help her vs the samurai. Nice story !
Love the story! I just wish I knew more about the characters... especially the swamp dragon-man. Makes me wonder if he's somehow tied to the girl in some way. How else would he just happen to be there when she needed him? Obviously he lives in that swamp but did the girl know that? Did she decide to go into the swamp to hopefully hide/get away or did she go there because she knew "swamp-thing" was in there and a friend? So many questions!
Omgosh the povs were awesome bringing to life your story and painting a great actionable picture in mind while you tell the tale!!!!! Thank you!!!! I look forward to these stories!!!!!
Wow! Apex was certainly worth the wait! I really wasn’t expecting the swamp creature & I enjoyed the clash of the titans aspect of the fight between it & the samurai super soldier… also the fact that the human beings were just doing the best they could to survive! 😱 I definitely agree that these stories would make great films.♥️♥️ Pull your finger out Netflix & call Simon! 👍🏻😉
Love the fiction on non fiction story especially since BDS did the scape ore swamp cryptid and you added a lovely WW2 twist to it. Very nice big fella very nice
Unclassified Encounters, can you please have more episodes like this? As I really did enjoy seeing the Super Samurai fighting against the Humanoid Lizard.
Ah, a full moon. Guess we can clarify the timeline of this event. And let me guess, this I-401 is so top secret it's not officially known in the present day (in this universe, at least)? Tenacious hedonists. Yes, that's us, all right, but I really hope we remove the majority of negative aspects from the latter these days, though.
I feel so bad I haven't seen this sooner. I love what you're doing but I'm a month late! Regardless, this was amazing. As soon as the scientists were revealed I guessed there was some human that was the "weapon" rather than a machine. Perfect example of Chekhov's gun. But I could never expect a lizard monster to emerge from the swamp! I almost thought maybe the bit about the coyotes was somebody had been killing them but now the samurai was closing in. Great way to hint at a swamp creature but giving some misdirection. I love the art, as always. Great designs for the samurai armor with an oni mask. I love the detailed interior of the police cruiser. I can't get over the shotgun mounted in the gun lock. A minor detail completely irrelevant to the story but nice to see its inclusion. The swamp monster is reminiscent of The Lizard from Marvel. Maybe there's a story to tell about the creature. Again, thank you for providing your stories to us. This is a contender for my favorite episode.
Not going to lie, at first I was worried I wasn't going to like this, but I needn't have worried. It was _amazing_ ! I was trying to work out what was in the swamp ... Bigfoot? Dogman? But no ... Scape Ore Swamp lizardman ftw GO GO GOJIRA
I'm terribly late to this particular party and most of what I was moved to say after watching APEX has long since been stated below. But I must say, SIMON! THIS IS BRILLIANT, MATE. Masterfully structured and told. In just 34 minutes you have multiple characters, plots and subplots, and they all tie together by the end in a way worthy of a feature production. Add a bit more background and flesh out the main conflict a bit more and this could easily be a feature film. Also, I adored the monster fight! It has very Godzilla energy, I was reminded quite fondly of a miniature version of the old Toho films of the 60's and 70's. The obvious choice here would have been Bigfoot, with Dogman being a runner-up. But you went for a more obscure Carolinas cryptid, and I adored it. Looking forward to continuing to catch up as I can.
So it was like predator 2 where he gave Danny glover the pistol from the 1800s. Also a spelling error and a mistake with words relatively close to each other...
I loved that story. A monster goes forth to kill and maim, only to die at the hands of something mightier.
Saw it coming but it was still super satisfying when the local cryptid saved his humans.
Never turn your back on a dragon of any kind, it won't end well for you.
Japanese Samurai : "Going to American Swamp"
American Cryptid : *WAT ARE YOU DOING IN MAH SWAMP*
Wow just wow. Unit 731, a living samurai and a lizard man like the one in Scape Ore Swamp!? This might b the best episode yet!
The one thing that seems constant in all these stories is conflict breeds strange bedfellows.
❤️
And here we see the first Pacific Theater related episode! I’d love to see more episodes focused on the Pacific(although technically this is North Carolina and therefore on the opposite side of the continent lol).
The Creature of Scape Ore Swamp type-lizard man was a pretty cool addition as well.
"Staring again at the creature and its aggressive stance, the message it sent him was clear and unambiguous." COME AT ME, BRUH!!!!!
Glad we could be of some help
This is one of my favorite episodes yet. Absolutely brilliant!
Love this episode! Very visual in your narrative style. Thank you. Made my evening!
A alligator-like cryptid fighting an Imperial Japanese superhuman samurai in a swamp.

Badass story with a wild twist!
Awesome story I was thinking it would be some showdown between the armed forces and then hoped it would be some old voodoo entity but the cryptid was a brilliant surprise.
When the local swamp resident decides to come and save both a young girl and her mother from a murderous Japanese supersoldier.
He may be a swamp monster but he is an AMERICAN swamp monster.
What a fantastic twist. Loved this one.
Watching and eating popcorn 🍿
Always be mindful of your surrounds!😳
I think Katsuro would make for another excellent backstory candidate, seeing as the whole renaming thing and unit 731 (which mostly operated from northeast China being involved makes me think that he was Chinese before he was made into that superhuman samurai killing machine. 😮🤕🥶 yesss!
Or some Daoist magikick!
Wow! I just had to write to say how crazily good this was! That swamp creature thing just came outta left field and gave this story an epic ending! Good work!
Good stuff. Sad story too.
So the creatures of scape ore swamp saved the day?
I really like this story, one of my favorites. thanks.
Now that's a good neighbor!
That was so well done, good story.

Japanese Super Soldier: gets beaten by a lil girl with a gun and average Florida wildlife
😂 You don't f**k around with a Southern Belle armed with guns 'n gators!
That was brilliant.
Fine story with great narration.
Keep up the good work guys.
Shout out to BTS.
Even American Cryptids were pissed about Pearl Harbor
(Sees Katana(Naganata) traditional Japanese sword like thing in thumbnail)
Please be an Oni, please be an Oni
If its not that's ok too. 👌 can't wait for the premiere guys
Gods-DAMN. Masterful storytelling.
Best one yet ,,,,well done guys 👍🎰
This is so dope
Great story. Totally unexpected climax, another creature. Kind of like Japanese Frankenstein meets the Creature From The Black Lagoon. Really enjoyed this.
BTW. Thanks for arising at such an obscene hour to appear on the Spaced Out Radio livestream for us weirdos and low lifes who infest the chat.
I won’t lie; Glen. I was tired at 4AM this morning, I’m tired now……
@Håkan Bergvall No, thats not weird at all. I would love to be able to restore old cars. But I lack the time and money and skills. Mostly the skills.
Oh man, I LOVE stories of your local cryptid/ghost saving you from an intruder.
This is bloody awesome!!!!!
Finally the IJN makes their first appearance
Guess this "Katsuro" is the Imperial Japanese answer and equivalent to the infamous yet hindsightfully necessary SPARTAN-II and SPARTAN-III programs. (And if anyone asks, DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT TV SERIES. *ahem* Please.)
Old Man Oliver called it this time around. Good for him... pity.
Outstanding!!
That was AWESOME! Thanks so much for your stories!! I get amped every time one comes out!
This totally gripped me. I also really enjoy the art style, the colours are not too bright, but still vibrant enough to make it pleasant. Amazing video.
Thank you so much. Only just started to let colour creep in, so glad you're enjoying it...
Brilliant!
back on form! great episode!!!
Oh that is awesome! I think this is my favorite episode so far
Good damn stuff....I had a feeling a swamp beast( I was thinking a dogman type or a sasquatch type but the lizard was better!) was gonna help her vs the samurai. Nice story !
This was a masterpiece! Scary and fun, and with an amazing homage as well!
just incredible.. PLEASE keep making these masterpieces.
Awesome job on this my favorite yet!
I am way more excited for this Premier than a grown ass man should be
Hehe, I'm a grown-up, and I still love cartoons, so it's a given.
@@michaelandreipalon359 Me too. Guilty pleasures!
This is scary, not because of anything supernatural, but because Japan actually planned to do this.
With some differences.
Namely the weapon employed.
Love the story! I just wish I knew more about the characters... especially the swamp dragon-man. Makes me wonder if he's somehow tied to the girl in some way. Now that was awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Omgosh the povs were awesome bringing to life your story and painting a great actionable picture in mind while you tell the tale!!!!! Thank you!!!! I look forward to these stories!!!!!
Another fantastic outing! I wish I could bring my tales to life like you can!
Wow! Apex was certainly worth the wait! I really wasn’t expecting the swamp creature & I enjoyed the clash of the titans aspect of the fight between it & the samurai super soldier… also the fact that the human beings were just doing the best they could to survive! 😱

Great, and amazing story...I'm ready for the next one asap...keep up the good work.
Man, this was the best one yet.
👍🐿😶
That was simply amazing.
BRAVO!
That was intense! Great story 👏.
Cinema quality mate.
Samurai VS the Lizard Man.
Really enjoyed this one.. braw tale indeed 🙂
What a great story!
Awesome
That was an awesome story. Very cool concept and the art and music makes it so good.
Great story, this time I could follow along easily while i lay a bed to your words much clearer now
Thanks
Great story! I loved every minute of it, excellent writing! I am sharing this episode and channel!
Love the fiction on non fiction story especially since BDS did the scape ore swamp cryptid and you added a lovely WW2 twist to it.
Very nice big fella very nice
Another great story. I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time. Awesome job and great art work for this. Thank you.
Holy crap that one was amazing! Good job dude!
What a riveting video! An unexpected twist near the end of the story.
I wonder who decided a submarine would be a good idea to transport top secret weapons...
😂
I agree they could have used UPS, and save time with overnight delivery 😁
A military force with no mobile aerial/space command centers.
@@Pembroke. LOL. UPS didn't exist back then.
@@sonofeyeabovealleffoff5462, HELLO!!! Captain Obvious! 😉👍✌️
Florida man might be scary but when you factor the unspeakable things he's done to the local wildlife and it's results things get a lot darker lol
Can't wait for the premier!
Awesome story my man, thought it was going to be a werewolf but the giant lizard man was a real surprise keep up the good work👍👍
What we need is a Twilight Zone type of show with these as the episodes. Great writing, art and sound work.
This show has a lot of creepy vibes, nice😎👍🏿
And surprising wholesomeness and badbuttery.
What a twist!!!!
Just absolutely awesome. Fresh, inventive, exciting, I could go on. Just know you guys are putting out great work!
Unclassified Encounters, can you please have more episodes like this? As I really did enjoy seeing the Super Samurai fighting against the Humanoid Lizard.
I'm pretty sure the ending can be considered a mini kaiju fight....
🙌🏻

So basically the Lizard was Team America 😂
Great story as always!
❤❤
So this is Japan’s version of Captain America huh?
This guy gets it...
Not going to lie, at first I was worried I wasn't going to like this, but I needn't have worried. It was _amazing_ !
I was trying to work out what was in the swamp ... Bigfoot? Dogman? But no ...
Scape Ore Swamp lizardman ftw
GO GO GOJIRA

The scape ore swamp monster?
hell yeah, another win for the lizard people.
