- I got my hands on factory watercooled GTX 980Ti. Amazing design and solid performance. Despite official clocks boosts itself to 1350MHz and always stays below 50C. One of the best GTX 980Ti out there.

i highly respect how you chose to make your video, man
straight to the point, without talking unwanted shit
i got just what i looked for
Thanks for the video, going to be doing this soon with my 1070 hybrid!
I have the same case and I'm getting a hybrid cooler GPU this week. I want to front mount the radiator and I'm hoping I don't have to remove any front fans to do so.
how did you connect the fan pinouts?
Very curious how thermals are with the CPU cooler dumping all of its heat into the GPU radiator. I've been trying to figure out the proper orientation to mount my 1070ti hybrid cooler in a similar setup to yours.
What did you figure out? Thanks
At this point? That RTX 3060 is a much faster card air or water cooled and impossible to get as well =)
Where do I plug in the middle cable? I have no freaking clue. There is nothing on my MB that even looks like it.
I can place three fans on the bottom of my case, all 120 sized. Would that be considered a exhaust? I’m new to pc and want to get this card but I don’t know where to put it. The bottom of the case has holes through it, it’s a dust tray thing. It’s a inwin 101 case in black if your curious on this. Thanks
Hi did you have some issues like loud pump noise or coil whine with this card? Cus i am planning on picking one up..
Does your GPU radiator fan act as your main exhaust fan for the entire case? I couldn't see any fans in the top.
Yes, I used it like that. Ideally you right, should be one on top. Given I had it for limited time and did not OC it - no issues with heat overall.
@@Edsdrafts so how cool did the card stay when it was installed at the back?
where did you buy the fancy white gloves??
Why do you reconnect the power cable? Does it work against ESD?
In theory you should disconnect power cable, try to start the PC so that would empty the capacitors and then connect it when switch is turned off. Although it depends on PSU.
You can, yes.
Didn't you mount the radiator upside down? Also will that reach the front of the case for a front mounted install?
Nope, all good. Mounting otherwise would be very awkward with all the tubing. I doubt it would reach the front and even it if it did it would look messy.
While I don't see particular use for watercooling CPU to get few % boost I do recommend it for any GPU. It runs so much cooler and having GPU run cool means more even performance without jumps due to throttling.
Do you think with this case and gpu combo you would be able to fit the corsair h100 i v2 240mm mounted at the top?
I would say so although I never tried. Have you tried checking manufacturer's website for this case?
the fan blades on the evga board are inverted so does it blow out the big hole on the plate or suck and exhaust out the back like a blower style?
Good question. I never checked but this type of fan is usually case air in and throw out the back.
Thanks you so much for your video. Just one thing! so how about the exhaust fan? I am new into pc building
Hi. Thanks. What do you mean about exhaust fan? The card is designed to push all heat through radiator and dissipate via surface with the help of the fan.
@@Edsdrafts I mean the fan that should be in the back to pull out the air. Is it necessary to have that or not?
Do you think this would work with the noctua nh 15s?
I don't see why not. Noctua is built for performance systems in mind. As long as the motherboard you chose has same mindset - you should be fine.
You have a really good mic
Its like asmr lol
my card reach 52 to 53 degrees .. is that normal ? with stock clocks
I would say warm but nothing to worry about. If you stay under 60 with OC you are fine. Even going up to 70 is reasonable, even though on water should be a good bit cooler.
So like there is no water involved?
Francis F all factory sealed, yes.
Eds drafts thanks a lot for responding even after the vid being a year old 👍🏻👌🏻
You are welcome. Video might be old but I still keep an eye on comments ;)
If I buy a water cooler can I put this in aswell ?
Hi. Depends. If you mean CPU then yes provided there is enough space inside of your case. If GPU then no since you'll need to remove this one to install new one.
What is the wire that comes out with tubes for
Hi. That's for fan power and control.
Hello where do you put the water in? Im sorry im noob i just got it
Hi. You don't. It's a closed loop, just plug in and leave it at that.
1:25 - 1:37 I came.
i praise the lord
And take whats mine
Bad cuts at cable connects
3:11 really, that just sucks bro. The only good thing is the story. Not as good as the old ones or badass dual pistols lol
ASMR
Oooooooo you put it in the back ..mm lol I am so dumb.
Thank you
why the gloves??! :D
Hi. As mentioned - no oil from the skin on the PCBs and aesthetics. I got these gloves in Japan for no reason but now I can see them useful in some cases eg. handling some of the PCs components. Allows skin to breathe unlike latex ones. So yeah.
Eds drafts What are the gloves made out of? Wondering if the gloves can also prevent static discharge?
