I know of show cars and trucks sitting 10 years in shops being built as owner and shop worked out deals of no rush and keep prices down.

Those bucket and stick pins are worn slap the hell out. That’s probably why the chains kept loosening. Good lord I can see at least half an inch on camera of just dead space between the pins and the bushings lol

That is a very impressive rig and I do admire the low loader (lowboy?) operators.
Just wanted to throw a number in here: UK standard semi weight limit for our roads is 44 Tonnes or 97,000 Ibs which we run on 6 axles although of course higher weight special loads can travel with permits (STGO here).
But keep on trucking Mr Gentry. You do it with style!

That big Kitty Cat sounds pretty amazing Tim! Man, that thing's got gobs of torque when it's up on the pipe! When I was driving years ago, the best thing I could do at the time was a Big Cam 400 Cummins turned up to about 450. It was a real trick to keep it cool on a long pull like that, especially at higher altitudes. (We're around 6400 feet here). It was in a '72 KW cabover pulling a 45 foot aluminum float most of the time. Your Rooster sure is lookin' pretty!😄👍👍

Great job on weight loss. I am 150lb i never over feed. Protein mainly1 possibly 2 meals a day a snack if needed. The body is like a motor only fill when needed. Over filling causes issues lol

Absolutely cannot believe you haven't put a shifter in that truck & relocated the cruise control buttons that would have been the absolute first thing I would have done
I guess when you have a channel, we can all watch you do just that, but until then I doubt Tim or the rest of us care what you would or wouldn’t have done.

Get you an Amsoil account and run Diesel synthetic w/ HotShots Stiction Eliminator. Knock it and laugh if you want but i had a Paccar that we tuned up :-) to pull and get fuel mileage. I never lost oil pressure even with the big turbo kicked in! I've never been a additives guy, but that combo of Amsoil and the HotShots Stiction Eliminator was real deal when it comes to being the life blood of your motor! The Paccar we tuned up had 550 wheel HP and was getting every bit of 7.5 - 9 miles to the gallon loaded! I loved it and when i told people i was running with it was Paccar no one would believe me till i pulled the hood and showed them! It was the best of both worlds!

You have built yourself a rig Mr. Timmy! As a long time southeast driver from Florida I run the same parts of TN in your videos, at least twice a week. And with 35k in the box I can't go over 63mph on eagle. Jellico i dont hit northbound much😂

I remember I drove a guy that put me in a 94 or 95 Peterbilt 379 with an 850hp Cat 3406B! That thing was a damn monster! It wasn't even close to as pretty as this guy's truck here, though, but that was the beauty of it. Nobody knew what was under that hood until they tried to outrun it and found out the hard way, lol! People always think that looks matter, but it'll be the ugliest truck with the super tuned engine! The only other way they knew what was under that hood was when ya gear gear in it and all that super thick black smoke came out those 8 inch pipes that it had!

Rooster The Legend Of The Highway’s
The original Bull Dozer Motor was the 1693TA from the 70s. Conservatively rated at 425 from the factory. Easily turned up into the mid 500s. I had one i a 352 Pete. With a 12513 trans and 4.11 gears. 210 20 wheels. She would pull a tree right out of the ground. Would only run about 85 or less flat out. But pulling hills with a light load in the rain you had to be careful because she would spin the tires.
As far as boost... I had a pyrometer as big as the tach and speedo. On a long pull she would never quit... you had to let off as the pyro went over 9 towards 12.... too hot.
My last Pete was a 379 63 inch flat top. 1992. 3406 B mechanical gov. I had it turned up to over 500. It just cruzed. Never had to worry except my friend who turned it up was a Cat mechanic and we turned it up on the dyno... he put his seal on the gov and told me if I blew anything up I had to tow her back to Jersey for him to fix it...
Sold that one to a guy and it was stolen in Harrison NJ and likely cut into pieces and loaded into a container and shipped to south America.
Havnt drove a truck at all since 2004.... I miss stuff like this here but you couldnt get me behind the wheel in a new truck with cameras looking at me and digital log books and all that crap...

Break in oil if it has it in it and probably 200-210 on the oil temp gauge I’d say it’s just thin oil for the lower oil pressure! Cut the filter in half when you change the oil and look at it and see if any bearing material is in it. Should see a little flake in it regardless it being a new built motor I’m sure. Should be alright
