If you really think about it Puppet is the master puppet so he is a marionette because he is the master of puppet's so you should have put all the pieces together and get the master of puppet's/ a marionette. Or if you think he is one out of many of marionette's so he is one of the marionette's in the world.

Marionette means a actual puppet as in the ones with strings you control. The marionette doesn't spesificly point to Puppet Master. You must not know FNAF well.

technically the security puppet was a male animatronic until henry's daughter possessed her which then turned the animatronic female so if this was correct then puppet master would be a funtime puppet sort of animatronics and the marionette would be the female counterpart but because of fan made lore none of this applies. PS: i think a cool episode would be if the puppet got a new suit and the exoskelloton in that switched bodies with the original puppet making the genders appropriate if the second one was a girl originally
