Good video don't know why it's called the blowback rig though,well i do but if a carp wanted to eject it it probably could the addition of the rig ring on the hook coupled with the weight of the bait ensures the hook can turn and get a purchase on the fishes lip,i use this rig it's great but the movement from the rig ring can help the fish eject the bait if it's not set up precisely,also like paul shows longshank hooks are a must for this style of fishing.
