@@jadenn6170 with the matte box you get step-up rings that can house most size filter threads, so I use an 82 on one lens and a 77 on the other - although with a matte box it’s easier to get 4 x 5.65” filters that drop in!
@@CollinJung ive got a 86mm filter but it's too big to fit. now im using a 67mm filter size lens and im considering to get a 77 or 82mm VND instead, can I just get the same item as u>
@@jadenn6170 if you have an 67mm - 86mm step-up ring, you should be able to use the filter even with the mattebox! But yes you’d also be able to get the same ND filter that I have!
@@jadenn6170 I have an 82mm Freewell VND, it fits and you can still adjust the ring. This is the maximum it will take. I also have the Tilta Mirage, there it works as well but on the Smallrig the filter sticks further out and is a little easier to adjust. You just can't change the setting without your fingers getting in the picture on either matte box ;)
