- Francisco Lindor kept his hot streak going by hitting a two-run homer and giving the Mets an early lead against the Braves. The game was tied in the bottom of the tenth inning and Jeff McNeil hit a fly ball that was misplayed, giving the Mets a 3-2 win.

2006 and 2015 weren't good years...1986 and 1969, although I wasn't alive for the first win, were awesome years...I hope this team is like one of those championship years...no sense going and then losing, like happened in 2015...or losing in playoffs in 06..let's party like it's 1986! Amazing job by the pen, five innings no runs, helped out by the Braves' odd decisions.
Mets had 3 hits and 2 of them by McNeil and still won the game.
Lindor’s homer was the reason we went to extras. Sale was otherwise unhittable. Crazy game, and a well deserved win for the Mets!
I was there! I sat in the upper deck so I couldn’t see right field 😂 I looked for the player reactions and saw Iglesias running home and celebrating. I watched what happened on the scoreboard and I was speechless. What an amazing game.

That celebration after the game was embarrassing. It's like they didn't expect to win tonight It's July 25 and they haven't won anything. Also, how long must Stewart be on the team? He's one of the worst hitters in the NL and they cannot afford to carry him like an albatross. I feel bad for Sale, the Braves should have won tonight. Unfortunately, the rest of the rotation is very good and so is the bullpen. Good luck

@@dashx1103 yes thanks for pointing that out, the only time I’ve seen outfielders miss a ball like that is when they played in a dome and it got lost in the lights or blended with the background or it got lost in the sun. But a white ball against the night sky, there’s no excuse for that. Guy needs his vision checked.

Braves are so ridiculously snake bit this year. so many injuries. rainouts. this game is just sums up how things are going for Atlanta. A base running blunder followed by an easy flyball overrun. I swear somebody up there just doesn't like us this year.
