Pancake really is a feel good story of hope. Surviving against all odds, taking to bottle feeding and now taking to a new mum. A credit to everyone involved in the journey ❤
The country is looking well considering all the rain we had . It’s amazing how nature has a way of catching up. Looking forward to getting some Bandit Beer again 🍺🍺
Hi, I’m Júnior from Brazil. Here the most of our cattle is Zebuine, but when we are going to Cross the mainly breed used here is Aberdeen Angus, and I think that in the USA too. But in the country where the Angus comes from I noticed that the farmers like to use more Simmental and Limousin. I’d like to know why do you prefer this kind of cattle? I like your vídeos so much . Thanks!
Good insight into contract farm arrangement. Must be lots of profit in it as you have TWO classic Defenders! Appreciating or depreciating? Need a dog hoist for tractor!
The contract farming sounds a good idea for an older farmer or a farmer with health issues is means they can still farm to a certain extent with alot less work
Unfortunately the first Scottish Land Reform Act by the Scottish Executive as it was made Limited Liability Partnership tenancies illegal. This reduced the amount of land available to rent by farmers. A Bill intending to protect Tennants reduced their numbers substantially.😊
That £300 part would be worth taking to a professional cast welder to repair even if it costs £50 to do. If not use stick welder and the correct rods after a preheat.
Dog might be fussy about the anti slip spikes on the ladder. Maybe teach her to jump up your knee at a right angle, or just do her the favor and lift her in.

Depreciating if you add in cost of parts when they break down every 3 weeks
I love this farm
Hi yould drill a wee hole in your cast pump and put a selftapper with some sealer on it. I would try that before you weld it. Robert.

Good stuff
Crawford where are you going to put the new bull next winter ?
If you are welding cast iron heat it up first, weld it ,then heat it up again . Let it cool off naturally and it should be ok
Is the new shed on yard 3 ? if so was that a split cost?

Does the App share your information with any other organisation as in the supermarket cartel ?
❤
A good stand of osr
Try some of the chemical metal advertised on Chinese shopping sites for a fix on your sprayer pump.
could you give any advice on how to get into farming from a non farming background?
There's agricultural colleges that would be the best place to start
😀🚜👍
What you use an app, not a whiteboard like clarksonb
At least its not a chalkboard
You skinned the calf and put the skin on the pet calf? Like actually draped the dead calf’s skin on the other calf to trick the mother?
Whatever works
👍🏼 fairly common thing to do
Making the best out of bad situation
Lucky Pancake got a fresh leather jacket for a day or two and then a kind loving mum with a fresh milk supply.😊
Do it with lambs aswell

Yes probably true, luckily we have one on farm called crawford. No qualifications but ensures he’s watched a few youtube videos and is an expert now
You need a Bateman would stop all that OSR getting battered down
Just out of curiosity how much does a cattle shed like that cost
Tree fiddy and half a can of Fanta....
A lottery win 😂
Just a couple loads of straw 😂
Weld repair to pump, if you have oxy & da bottles & a welding lamp, you would be better off brazing :)
Like to see more videos of the cattle ?
Watch todays then 🙂
👀🙄🐾👍How much land are you farming?
1300 ish acres
@@CrawfordsFarm1 ok looks like more
