History & Timeline Of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU Timeline)

- The Celestials, also known as Space Gods, originated from the original universe and were responsible for the creation of the Multiverse. They have existed since 13.8 billion years ago, and they are more or less as old as the Dark Elves. This timeline includes only the main events taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There have been quite a few videos done on the movie timeline which only talked about Captain America onwards, but here we will begin with the Celestials origins, their creation of the universe, the dark elves who existed before the cosmos, Asgardian history, Eternals and up till the 17th century, where we see the trial of Agatha Harkness, which sets up the story for Wandavision.

However, this timeline suggests that Hela killed the Valkyries in 945AD. Thor would have been alive at this time - but didn't know his sister......
I feel that the dark elves are very interesting beings I mean they’re older than the universe and probably played a huge role before the creation of the universe. They definitely need to be covered more in depth about their origins and history
I don't think they had that great a role, I think they were just the survivors of the previous universe and managed to escape it as refugees.

@@playzonexspidey9691 No, they are from a universe that died, think of it as what comes after the citadel at the end of time that you saw with Kang. Effectively I think they survived until that point and managed to cross over to the new one right after the big bang and around the time the celestials of that universe were first born. Or I think the best way to look at it is the point the actual universe itself is born or the beginning of time itself.
That’s how I found this video, was searching for dark elves origin videos. Not very many out there though.

In Ragnarok didn't Thor say he thought Odin killed surtur half a million years ago. Meaning Odin Is much older and as such so is Asgard.
The Thor timeline is contradicting. Odin also stated that Dark Elves were defeated a millenia ago, which doesn't make sense.

It is substainted in the comics that Asgardians live about 5000 years, and it wouldn't make sense if they could live for millions of years. You could even look at it from another perspective: Thor is in his 30s and he's 1500 years old while Odin is in his 90s and he's about 5000 years which fits much better than Thor being 1500 years old and Odin being like half a million. Also in a flashback in Thor: 2011 where Odin fights ice giants in Tonsberg we can clearly see that he's much younger (like 20 years younger in human years) than he was in 2011 and that happened about 1000 years before the movie.
I'm not gonna lie the ending of eternals was crazy because shirashem appeared and took circle and the few of the eternals left.

Ok so vibranium isn't the strongest substance/metal in the universe, it is already shown in endgame that uru metal could easily destroy vibranium. Uru metal and the infinity stones were considered unbreakable until Wanda broke those 2

it seems likely that the vibranium that fell onto Earth was the Celestial Seed. at least, I'm pretty sure in the ultimates universe in the comics which heavily inspired this, that was the case.

For anyone who thinks it doesn't seems accurate but i think it is because according to theory of relativity time is relative it can be very different in one realm than other. The biggest example of it is skaar were grandmaster stated that time flows differently in there than other places.

Pretty sure Hela would have had to have been sealed away after the war with the Frost Giants, as the mural depicts Odin and her ruling and conquering while he has an eye patch, but he doesn't' get his eye injured until in his fight with the Frost Giants. Further supporting this, Hela comments on Thor reminding her of "Dad" Odin when she wounds his eye, which is something she wouldn't be familiar with unless it happened before she was banished, as she never got a chance to see him upon her release.
Vibranium is not the strongest metal in the universe, I believe the creators even stated the reason Thanos's sword broke Capain's Shield was because Vibranium was only the strongest metal "on Earth". There isn't really any conclusive evidence between the standings of Vibranium and Eru metal in the MCU. The metal used by Thanos and his "children" was shown to not have much difficulty cutting Vision's Vibranium body.
I believe the metal thanos and black order used was Uru(thors hammer)

@@stanleyngwira2782 at the moment, adamantium isn't a part of the MCU yet, which is why Captain America's shield is pure Vibranium instead of what it typically is of that Adamantium alloy, in the comics.

I kinda dont like what Eternals brings to the table, it feels like they were trying to fill out the history of something that doesnt need filling out and makes Earth in the MCU feel less special, I like the idea of Dark Elves and something that made the Infinity stones, but by what Eternals puts on the table, it’s as if many other planets, were like Earth, had life and so on. It just doesnt feel right
I agree completely, it’s like half of earths history and accomplishments is due to a random group of kind of boring characters. It’s just too much.

my MCU X-Men fan theory:
keep First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool 1 & 2, New Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline as there is a massive gap between 1963-1995
with the Dark Phoenix cast appearing in Deadpool 1&2, these films can happen after the events of Dark Phoenix and since Essex Corps is referenced in New Mutants, this could happen in the Dark Phoenix timeline
after these events, Professor X uses Cerebro to convince the world that mutants don't exist and erase any new mutant activities from people's minds whenever one is witnessed. however the only person who knows is Nick Fury, who agrees with Professor X to keep tabs on any new mutant activity. this is also referenced in a deleted scene from Iron Man 1, when Nick mentions X-Men
the X-Men can work in secret between 1992 up until Endgame. when Tony Stark snaps his fingers, the mind stone reverses the effects of Professor X's actions. resulting in the public now remembering who the X-Men are
as for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Hydra's meddling with the mind stone prematurely reversed Professor X's actions, as it was mentioned that the mind stone unlocks dormant abilities already present in the brain
my theory brings the Dark Phoenix X-Men cast into the MCU, thus eliminating the need to recast the entire X-Men team. the actors are young, they've expressed interest in returning and continuing their roles. it's an option for Marvel Studios to do that
I've explained my theory to a lot of people, most of whom say it works. others say it won't work and demand i should forget everything about the Fox X-Men films and be happy with what Disney/Marvel Studios are going to do with the X-Men
I will probably receive a lot of negative feedback about my theory, nothing is set in stone, if Marvel Studios can bring back JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, why won't they bring back the Dark Phoenix cast?
there are multiple websites that support my theory, along with the Iron Man 1 deleted post credit scene. not only that, something similar happened in the comics (Robert Reynolds/Sentry and Gabriel Summers/Vulcan)
since Days of Future Past rewrote the timeline, X-trilogy/Wolverine trilogy no longer take place as the ending to Dark Phoenix doesn't connect to the original trilogy, leaving it open for possible future sequels. as I mentioned, the Dark Phoenix cast could return and continue

Yeah me too, also things like the timelines where avengers went back in time to collect the stones, when the first black panther came to be, when Thanos was born then split up from Eros, then changing his mindset on the life of the universe, how dormammu came into existence & all other characters like Galactus, The Beyonder, Living Tribunal, Nova etc.... You get the idea.

Imagine in the future, let’s say 20 years from this post, some random 9 year old kid wants to get into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time in their life. This kid is going to have to watch years and years of not only movies, but also television, animated, and streaming service Marvel shows just to get an understanding of how it all ties together. How we all grew to love each character over the course of our lifetimes. At the time of this posting, Phase 4 of the MCU has just begun….I wonder how many Phases there will be and how it will all tie together?

Question, IF you could place the events of the two Conan films (1980's Arnold Schwarzenegger) After Atlantis was submerged, where would you put it? Do we wait for Namor's story for that?

The celestials were created by Eternity who is the living embodiment of the universe. So the celestials are the same age or a little bit younger than Eternity or the universe/big bang.
Correct. The celestials are basically responsible for the expansion of the Universe after the big bang. Although there is an explanation that implies the celestials are from a previous universe and were responsible for this universe's big bang (creation of eternity). The celestials and the Dark elves survived the end of the previous universe. The Dark elves wish to return Eternity to its dark void state.

I just make reference of DC, that Lucifer and God being just single entities without have variant on other universe cause they are Entities above of Multiverse and they aware of it. (Im watched Lucifer series and CW universe of DC, they more entertaining and deep rather the DC big screen version, im not comic reader fyi)
Actually the celestials dont care about balance. They destroyed the last universe from over population while one man survived. The one above all then turned the surviving man into the living tribunal and allowed a handful of celestials to survive. He then created the current universe. To keep balance this time. The living tribunal will go around devoring planets that has a celestial seed to keep the population in check
