I wish the city of Concord would get on board with light rail. We could easily extend the line to the Speedway then to Great Wolf Lodge and ending at Concord Mills Mall. We should also extend the line south to Pineville and ending at Carolina Place Mall. Next, start the Silver line in Matthews an go through uptown Charlotte via a tunnel then down Wilkinson Blvd and ending at the airport. That would be an ideal solution.

I personally think it should've went all the way to the nacsar area race track. Then another line needs to run from uptown to the airport and the steelcreek outlets by way of wilkson blvd, another line need be placed from uptown up independence blvd to matthews and the south blue line need should extend to carolina place mall . Also a line need to be placed from uptown to northlake mall then to davidson and huntersville. Pushing it further an underground should go to South Park mall with underground stations on the way. Just my take on things but who am. Watch how much traffic dies down a little.

Now it's Raleigh/Durham turn for light rail. Raleigh is the State Capitol, they should be way ahead of Charlotte not way behind.
