I'm making an RC airplane using balsa wood for belly landing. I'm using a motor and lipo battery .My main goal is for the aircraft to lift a greater payload capacity and achieve a smoother flight. I was thinking of making a circular cruciform tail for this purpose, but I'm not finding much information about it. Do you think it would be beneficial for this? If not which will be better except for the conventional tail.
Yes, a very nice kit but they omit to mention that they don't include covering or any help with covering and it won't fly very well unless you cover at least the wings. There is probably another video somewhere but I haven't found it yet.
Hello Malcolm! We do have versions of the kit that come with covering. The bog-standard airframe kit does not so you can choose your own colours. We also do have lots of help on the process of covering - there are three videos on our RUclips channel covering three different methods and also have articles on the website. Hope that helps!
Where in the UK can these be flown? We're not sure where we would find a nice field like yours and not worry a farmer or the council etc. Any hints on overcoming this gratefully received before we join this adventure! Lovely model, we like the authentic stickers.
Great vid. Is there any plans to re-issue the old micro power pack that was discontinued? If I have to spend money I would rather spend it with you guys than amazon or other nameless big box shop!
Unfortunately, for now no, although we do have plans to create a 2s LiPo powered brushless system and mod kits for popular kits like the Magnificent Flying Machine Spitfire. :) We just couldn't get a reliable source of quality electronics at a decent price, so we really encourage you to get some electronics anywhere you can, have a go at a custom build and share it with us!
@@vintagemodelco7936 Thanks for the info. The problem is, being new (ish, the last time I flew RC was 1974) I have no idea what I am looking for now. Oh well, just have to google and hope :)
everything is fine except: Where is the EU warehouse ? I had purchased from the UK in december and it took ages to arrive and I had to drive to the customs to pay and pick it up. Would be great if you have a EU warehouse like hobbyking has established when Brexit began.
You've just got to love the way this plane flies! It's so cute!
Ingenius upgrades. No need to buy the whole thing again. Excellent. Lots of thought goes into these kits. I love it.
What a lovely little plane!

@@vintagemodelco7936 Great thanks. I have now found covering video. Onward and upward.
can you make a video on how to use a jetex engine? I want to get a heritage kit but I'm not sure how to fly it if I buy it.

What size glow engine for the Super Cub?
A 0.49 PAW would do the job :)

You can try to make the Japanese Zero Plane please?
NOICE
Narrated by motobob?
2200 4s fit???
Finding mini radio gear is getting impossible.

We are looking into that ;)
aight what about a paper plane shaped balsa kit? Just two triangles at 90 degrees with electronics hot glued to it 😂
Interesting idea!
