- 本日、2020年11月27日は、ガメラの生誕55周年です。おめでとう、ガメラ！
2015年に、僕はゴジラvsガメラを作ると言っておいて、結局完成せず多くのファンの期待を裏切ったことがあります。（その時の没動画はこちら： • 【MMD特撮】ゴジラ 没シーン集 ）
理由としては「自分の実力不足に納得が行かなかったから」です。
ですがあれから5年が経ちました。5年の準備期間は十分意味のある期間となりました。
誇れる”実力”を培ってきました。
そんな今の僕が、現状皆さんにお届けできる短編動画がこの動画になります。
結局今回も戦うシーンはありませんが、来年か再来年、本編に取り掛かりたいなと思っています。
それまで気長に待っていただけたら嬉しいです。

このクオリティで破壊神と守護神が対峙する・・・これだけでも十二分に価値があります！！
vsシリーズのゴジラ、平成3部作のガメラ・・・どちらもストライクな世代なのでこの使用モデルは同世代の方々にとって待ち望んでいた作品と言えるでしょう^^
完成をゆっくりお待ちしてます・・・！

This is by far my most favorite heisei godzilla design
素晴らしい・・・エフェクトによる臨場感と重さを感じるアクションから微妙な顔の筋肉の動きによる表情まで丁寧に作られたモーション・・・最高です。
対決シーンも見てみたいですが、あえてこのまま描かずどちらが勝つかはそれぞれのファンに想像させるのも良いかもしれません。
一番親しみのあるVS風ゴジラとガメラ2の共演、ファンの皆が夢に見た素晴らしい作品をありがとうございます！

In all honesty, this is the REAL dream match to me than GVK. Gamera is a seriously underrated monster.

I so hope that this becomes a full on 20something minute video like the Godzilla earth trilogy. Godzilla and Gamera NEED to fight in a film together and I think this will be the way to do it.

@@immaguy7905 I found out not to long ago that an actual crossover between these two monsters almost happened in 2002. Kadokawa pictures approached toho with the idea but the rumor is that kadokawa wanted Gamera to win and toho basically gave em the finger

Gotta give Godzilla a lot of credit,though; He's not intimidated by Gamera's show of force.
Now the one thing we need the most is a crossover movie starring these two along with a few kaiju.

Funny thing is, this almost became an actual movie
The studio that created Gamera approached TOHO with the idea, but TOHO turned it down because Gamera was very popular at the time, possibly surpassing Godzilla. they were afraid the script would demand Godzilla to lose the fight and give their rival studio even more attention. so the idea was scrapped
