Fantastic video Rion and explanation. We're from Malaysia and been to this festival twice. Love the bonodori dance and thanks for explaining about it. Wonderful day spent tasting free samples, buying n trying lots of interesting foods. Even had matcha beer! Will definitely cone again in 2024!
Rion, thank you so much for taking everyone on such a very nice cultural event in Tokyo, Japan. I have already watch your video 3 times in the last 3 hours because I'm taking care of my someone and when I must go and check on that person, I like to restart the video hoping I can watch it from the beginning to the end without interruption because I do not want to miss one movement at such an important event in the Japanese culture. Rion, again thank you so much for taking time out of your busy life to share with the world the AMAZING Japanese's culture. The dance performance, music, customs, and delicious food really excites me to travel and possibly move to Japan in the near future. Again, Rion thank you so much for sharing with everyone watching the beautiful culture of the Japanese's people. God Bless You and your family and the country of Japan.
What an experience - such a huge indoor stadium ful of performences from all over Japan not to mention the maze of food stands beyond imagination. It has bèen obviously difficult to pick up something jummy and interesting to eat but your choice seems to be perfect and you have definitely enjoyed it. I have just realized that such a large Tokyo Dome will host a solo ice show by Yuzuru Hanyu in the end of February. Just amazing - some 55,000 happy winners of ticket lottery shall be able to enjoy it for sure. Being envious and jealous. Hoping only for some inserts in RUclips.

It seems that this festival is perfect for getting a taste of all that Japanese cuisine has to offer! It's perfect for people who have a limited time in Japan but want to experience a little bit from every prefecture. And not just food, but a tate of culture, too! Thanks for sharing.
What a huge food market in a baseball stadium. The stew pork makes me salivate 😋 As a Vblogger it is very difficult to carry cam and food together, but you did it so pro 👍 Thanks for another interesting video. Loving it ❤
❤This matsuri! Can learn about the specialty food from different prefectures even if you don't have enough room in your stomache to try them all. Wish they had one platter made up of one representative food from each prefecture, in bite size, for the visitors to sample.😋Just like Japan--small in size, but big in culture!🗾 Anyways, thank you for bringing this matsuri experience to us.🙏👍
I totally agree with you dear when you said that Japan is small in size but big in culture. That’s why we never get tired to visit Japan because there’s so many things that we need to see, experience and learn! 😊❤
I would love to come in festivals like this. 😲😲😲 Hopefully next year I will be able to. More vlogs of food festivals around Japan please. Thank you for sharing this experience to us. Gaooo! 😁😁😁
Rion, awesome video, really enjoyed it!! Would you consider sometimes doing a short event video (or add at the end of a video) with upcoming events for people coming to Japan? I think it would help people plan their vacation.
Thank you Rion for showing how it looks like getting there from the station! I’ll be going there in three weeks for a live and it helps :) i’ve never been in a dome before, it looks so massive… and didn’t expect a place like that dome to have food stalls lol it looks so fun too
Arigatougozaimasu, Rion! This was such a fun and enjoyable video. I would love to visit the food festival one day. It was nice to see you enjoying the food and desserts. The matsuri music, dances and costumes were beautiful. The nighttime colorful visuals of Tokyo were beautiful, too. 👍

Hi Rion! I've had a lot of catching up on videos to do. It looks like a really interesting festival! But any event with food is a winner for me :) I'm finally getting to go to Japan in October after my trip was postponed a few times. I noticed when buying from food vendors sometimes you say 'Itadakimasu' when leaving. Am I hearing right? Should I say this to food vendors too while I'm there?
@@RionIshida Thank you! I've never heard it used in an exchange before, only before eating, so it's cool to hear it used a little differently. Maybe I will try it because I will definitely be buying a lot of street foods. :)
