So great to watch. Knockout comments from both Jeremy and Nate around the 18:00 mark. HILARIOUS impromptu lines on (and just after) Nate's and Nikko's putts. Great golf to watch all the way through.
Just a suggestion you can ignore if you don't like but I suggest you call the area between circles 1 and 2 the donut. Cheers boys! You are a pleasure listen to.
Honestly though he did! He was fuming inside but only really showed it by a weird pouty slow mo walk to the basket, that’s better than what he did later lol
haha, i think what we've learned today is that Nikko is just hilarious enough to follow around with the camera. I think Jomez Pro should hire another cameraman to go follow him around when he's not on their card
LOL dude someone made a "nikko angry" compilation once that was 5 minutes of golden footage. Sadly it got taken down, but I really wish we could compile a long list and re-make it. Most of us love Nikko anyway :)
Jomez, Have you considered adding the gallery responses into these videos? I think it would make them far more dynamic. Just having a few sound people wandering through the crowd and you could add in the best comments and group reactions.
I've seen Paul, Eagle, and even Nate let out some frustration after a bad shot, but Nikko is so bad at handling it. Just let out a grunt and move on...don't make a scene.
Beg your pardon, Jeremy? Calling Nate Sexton "Mr. Safety Pants" and "Safe-ton"??? He's too easy-going to be offended but sorry, man, he won Ledgestone earlier this month and has 7 Top-10's this year. That doesn't happen playing safely, brother. Great video to watch as always from Jomez - awesome coverage, production and commentary from Nate Sexton and Big Jerm as usual.
@ 26:15 Oh Nikko! Maybe that could have been edited better tho? I'd keep the ground punch but cut before the comment. Then let the commentary mention the etiquette, and if he received a warning from the group? That being said, come on Nikko... You're better than that homie.
Nikko's energy, whether good or bad, is a really enjoyable part of watching the rounds for me & some friends honestly. Even Paul McBeth says that his ideal card to play well has Nikko on it. Love or hate him - we all love watching Nikko play and can draw from the fire he has for the game.
Came here to say exactly this. Nikko is a fierce competitor and all people need to release their frustrations. He's not affecting anyone else and he's actually a super nice guy. I saw him lose an A/B tier in Branson on a 50 ft putt he facemasked off by 1 stroke. I was expecting an eruption, but within minutes he was throwing discs with a kid and had super positive vibes. He was calm and collected during payout time and gave a very positive speech when he accepted his second place. Until he assaults someone or damages a course, I don't see an issue.
Showed up in recommended though watched before. Went through whole thing to watch some of my favorite guys again AND to watch for when Nikko has his ALWAYS, take the money to the bank, he cannot help it he is too immature to get past it, meltdown. I might be wrong but I think Nikko could have been one of the greats is not so weak mentally.
Jerm always super analyzes Nikkos style of play every time he commentates on him. It’s almost like he is low key talking crap, I can’t tell. Like “he is really good at this one particular kind of shot, maybe even the best, but not anything else.” It feels like they don’t get along and he feels like he has to say something nice about him to not show it. Or maybe I over analyze.
It's not poor sportsmanship because the frustration is with himself and his results. Could it be distracting to other players? Maybe, but he's just a very vocal guy who can't control his emotions, it has nothing to do with him being a poor sport. Everyone gets angry at mistakes like that, Nate explained that he had one of his own this round, but he doesn't outwardly express it as much. If people are getting visibly frustrated with the results of their work, then they are passionate and take the sport seriously, that isn't bad for disc golf
Mentioned it in another comment but I'll say it again here - Most pro's do not care at all about Nikko's comments. McBeth has even said his ideal card to play a good round has Nikko on it. Most of them have the mental game to not be affected & instead often just enjoy his antics and draw some fire from it. Keep in mind that in most other sports talking to your opponents is a part of the mental game. Nikko isn't even doing that, he's just talking to himself in anger.
Sportsmanship is defined as ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior while participating in a game or athletic event. If I was playing baseball and I got struck out and that cost my team the game and I didn't go shake the other teams hand, it would be poor sportsmanship. Even though I am not upset with them, but with myself, it comes off as being a poor sport. You can be frustrated with yourself most definitely! I would believe if you are a professional in a sport, act like it, at least most of the time (We all get vocal every once and awhile). Of course this isn't bad for disc golf, he is a phenomenal player and I am sure he is a great guy, but when rounds are being recorded and every time you mess up, it might be a good idea to back off the outwardly expressions. I'm glad other pros can handle his comments professionally. I don't see disc golf being the same as most other sports though. We don't intentionally try and get into our opponents to gain an advantage. Cheers.
That Hole 13 forehand.......ugh.......disgusting. As in I wish I could do that lol. And 2nd note: What a little baby Lacastro is. It embarrasses ME to watch him throw temper tantrums. Grow up bro.
Shot of the year contender on hole 13 for Nate. That was a beautiful shot!
I love watching Matt Dollar. That thumber is deadly
Not
Nikko Locastro is SO dramatic. Ex) The slow walk up to the basket like he's pouting and the ground punch lol
So great to watch. Knockout comments from both Jeremy and Nate around the 18:00 mark. HILARIOUS impromptu lines on (and just after) Nate's and Nikko's putts. Great golf to watch all the way through.
Best commentary team in all of sports.
Jerm's reaction to 'this is not a slomez' was fucking perfect, tough luck on hole 15 but that had me rollin
as you can still hear him laughing while Nate is going over the next hole.....
Sexton threw a beautiful round of golf besides a couple miss queues. Very nice job and great coverage!
Just a suggestion you can ignore if you don't like but I suggest you call the area between circles 1 and 2 the donut. Cheers boys!
You are a pleasure listen to.
Best reply.
This is an amazing suggestion, and I for one am calling it the donut from now on
So i guess circle 1 is the donut hole.
Funniest reply I’ve read in a while
I like the word fringe as well
"id like to take some blame'' LOL jerm
This was probably the best commentary ever.
1108 from Ricky... WOW! Can't wait to see the round tomorrow!!!
Thank you as always Jomez. Great coverage.
No follow flights on 14? The double comparison of Nikko's shot and Nate's would have been nice!
Awesome round nate . great commentary also by nate and germ so fun to watch
Oh Nate!! Amazing drive on 13, amazing!!!
Nikko showed some great composure especially on hole 15. Thats great man
Spoke too soon, but that nikko energy is why we love to watch him!
Honestly though he did! He was fuming inside but only really showed it by a weird pouty slow mo walk to the basket, that’s better than what he did later lol
As always, thanks Jomez!!
Wow great coverage. Some amazing drives and putts!
Great coverage. Love the Big Safety commentary!
That is not a slomez.
@Ali Neeley Definitely not a scam.
I stop the video and was hoping to read comments about that ^ #slocastro
Sweet commentary and discs!
Jerm! You're a bad ass forehand thrower! You guys are killing the commentary! (In a good way)
What a great crowd.
Great coverage, thanks. And Safesexton LOL ;)
jerm has gotten so much better with his commentary. nice. fun course to watch.
Fully agreed, I'm loving the goofball-to-nates-straightman schtick it has gradually developed into, making me laugh a lot more often lately
I feel this is the best I’ve ever seen sexton play
What great looking course 😍
26:13 NIKKO HULK SMASH!!!!!!
gotta love this gallery
Oh, yes. Part two! Come to papa!!!!!
Lmao, not a slowmez on hole 15 had me dying.
Can't decide the move I like more. Dollar on the top with the elbow drop, or the slomez no slo Locastro.
Mr. Locastro has some serious mime skills. “That was not a Slo-mez.” 😂
Nobody has worn an outfit better than the guy in the background of Steve's upshot on 18
nikko punching the ground is my new favorite moment in disk golf
haha, i think what we've learned today is that Nikko is just hilarious enough to follow around with the camera. I think Jomez Pro should hire another cameraman to go follow him around when he's not on their card
Ethan Rubin that was a moment for the books
LOL dude someone made a "nikko angry" compilation once that was 5 minutes of golden footage. Sadly it got taken down, but I really wish we could compile a long list and re-make it. Most of us love Nikko anyway :)
Exactly! he's one of my favorite pros, and not just because of how entertaining he is.
SEXTON SMASH ANGRY FOREHAND
Hole 15 “Is this real time” LOL
Rare Sexton ANGRY ORC RAAAAAAA! 21:30 So good.
Can someone please take the footage of Nikko tapping in that Bogey to Christmas Time Is Here, for us Arrested Development fans.
"I've made a huge mistake"
26:13 classic locastro... 😡😠😤👏👏👏
Last second Vulcan _V_ from Nate on that angry orc shot :)
15:53 Hey Landon :)
-Flo Lingenhel
Nate has some serious Star Trek hand going on at 30:55
Mr. Safetypants?
BigSafety commentary?
would luv to hear pros talk about what happens to make them "hot" like how Nate just caught fire for last 6 holes
10:50 Nikko looking to see if the basket was going to "come at him bro"...
Yaaaaasssss
Jomez,
Have you considered adding the gallery responses into these videos?
I think it would make them far more dynamic.
Just having a few sound people wandering through the crowd and you could add in the best comments and group reactions.
Sexton getting it done. Climbing the stats board. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Hole 15. Wow that commentary was so funny.
Sexton: The People's Champion!
Nikko’s biggest fault is his anger. He gets in his head too much
I've seen Paul, Eagle, and even Nate let out some frustration after a bad shot, but Nikko is so bad at handling it. Just let out a grunt and move on...don't make a scene.
The definition of a drama queen
He goes into slow motion when he gets mad
Always has been.
So much anger for a guy that has an adolescent body.... lol
Is that Madison Walker riding a bike in the drone flyover on 17?
Joseph Kulp she's hurrying to meet that guy in the woods!
So sweet for Germy to offer to take some blame for Mr. Safety Pants' slightly errant drive on 12.
I teared up a little.
I always enjoy seeing Nikko flame out and self-destruct while on camera. His antics deserve a courtesy violation EVERY TIME, barf...
What antics?
Sexton #13 406ft forhand perfection 11:17
@ 26:15 Oh Nikko! Maybe that could have been edited better tho? I'd keep the ground punch but cut before the comment. Then let the commentary mention the etiquette, and if he received a warning from the group? That being said, come on Nikko... You're better than that homie.
Chris Edwards what comment? He basically just grunted aggressively
Nikko's energy, whether good or bad, is a really enjoyable part of watching the rounds for me & some friends honestly.

“That was a bomb.” Was the first thing I said to myself in your voice, then you said it. Freaky.
Nikko is a great player....but man STOP POUTING!
BigSafety commentary team at it again
lol @ the difference between how nate and nikko reacting on 15
Lol@Sextons bed head hair, no shower in the morning? Lmao
Discs?
Orc represent!

that's not a slow-mez
Matt needs to put that Photon back in the bag until he figures out how to throw it.
when Nico gets mad, His trowing suffer so much! He needs to learn, to be calm! Then he will be able to win and win! :D I bet!
Comment of the video: "That's not a slomez." #PoorNikko
I haven’t been this early for a video since nico teed off on 18.
The angry Orc....... I want an angry Orc shot. Mine is a Mad Orc and finds the nearest tree embedding bark in my disc. TREEson as I call it.
19:20, not true jerm. Max nichols son... putt-throw style. LEFTIES UNITE! :D
I took Jeremy's bet on Matt Dollar's putt on 12.
I always bet $3,000, so ...I'll wait to hear from you, buddy.
Dad + Caddie = DADDIE
Jerm always super analyzes Nikkos style of play every time he commentates on him. It’s almost like he is low key talking crap, I can’t tell. I see nothing wrong with "Mr. Safety Pants".
26:15 Grow up kid
Everyone hates on nikko for being competitive. If he doesn’t make noise during anyone’s shot what the hell is the problem?
Less video time for Nikkos crying and sulking please. He's such a baby.
Could really do without the dumb comments from Nikko. Poor sport..
