"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." John 12:32 [NKJV]
Come, you workers for Christ, and be encouraged. You fear that you cannot draw a congregation. Try the preaching of a crucified, risen, and ascended Savior; for this is the greatest "draw" that was ever yet manifested among men. What drew you to Christ but Christ? What draws you to Him now but His own blessed self? If you have been drawn to religion by anything else, you will soon be drawn away from it; but Jesus has held you and will hold you even to the end. Why, then, doubt His power to draw others? Go with the name of Jesus to those who have until now been stubborn and see if it does not draw them.
No one is beyond this drawing power. Old and young, rich and poor, ignorant and learned, depraved or amiable - all people shall feel the attractive force. Jesus is the one magnet. Let us not think of any other. Music will not draw people to Jesus, neither will eloquence, logic, ceremonial, or noise. Jesus Himself must draw people to Himself; and Jesus is fully capable of accomplishing the task in every situation. Be not tempted by the deceptive practices of the day; but as workers for the Lord, work in His own way, and draw people with the Lord's own cords. Be drawn to Christ, and draw others through Christ, because when you do so, Christ will draw through you.

Yes, I thought that music would be a good example… so many people think that if the church would sing the “right” music, that certainly would draw people to Christ. 😕

I’ve been having some weariness in my soul, but nothing GOD can’t wrangle in! “Why so downcast oh my soul? Put your hope in GOD; put your hope in GOD” So Blessed to be saved!
