This mix is absolutely amazing. Seeing all the retro trucks are so amazing! Hopefully more retro trucks will come out in future. By far this mix is one of my favorites 👍🏼
Finally this was an assortment that I was able to find in my stores internationally!! This & series 24!! But hopefully 2023 Distribution will be better for Spin!!
What a way to end off the year! This year had its ups and downs, a little more downs, but that can be forgiven because of this series. I’ve always loved the Excaliber truck, and I’m ecstatic to see it return in 1:64 scale. Monster Mutt is spot on (no pun intended)! Although it is kind of upsetting that the tongue is incorrect, but that’s easily forgiven giving that the truck is completely accurate. Avenger is great, but I was expecting it to be a little more accurate, so it’s somewhat disappointing. But hey, at least we got one! And who could forget the highlight of this series, or quite possibly the whole year, Boogey Van. Boogey Van is OUTSTANDING, even if it’s a modified version of the real life body of the truck. I’d give this series a 7.5/10. This series is somewhat half good and half bad, but a little more good. I hope 2023 will be a better year, and I do want to see more retro monster trucks, because Spin Master seems to do a great job on them!
I feel really dumb for buying 2 of those 40th digger superstore trucks but I'm gonna get this one lol because im a digger fan Edit: then again im glad I got them both because they look great and I can have one in the box and one out of the box then I'll have 2 40th diggers lol
@@MonsterJamOCD Honestly, the re-releases are an awesome idea, because there were SO many that I missed! Can we have a return of the 30th anniversary Grave Digger (Both schemes), Backwards Bob, Maximum Destruction, Saigon Shaker and The Black Pearl, all as they were?
Hoping SpinMaster does more of these retro trucks, especially ones we either never got or maybe got once or twice Examples being trucks like Safe Auto Minimizer, Escalade (especially the white World Finals one), Firemouth, Del Scorcho, etc.
@@MonsterJamOCD That's fair. Just sucks we never got them... Wait Escalade is a contractual truck? How? It was literally George Balhan driving an unmarked Escalade monster truck, tf? Genuinely confused
2022 has been a stellar year for SpinMaster releases but not so for their horribly inept NZ distributer who is still struggling to move the 2020 product that was excessively over ordered during the pandemic. Add in the price increases that have not been matched by HWMT and there is little chance of being a serious collector in this country. Maybe these will show up for Xmas 2023…
Also, the Monster Jam World Finals logo on the Avenger roof looks okay, because all the other retro trucks have today’s Monster Jam logo. No point contacting Spin Master.
Hoping soon you will a review video of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Exclusive die cast Party Crusher that I send it to ya, as well Rodger Dodger Magic 8 Ball Treasure Hunt (Chase Piece). It will be a truly honored.
Isn’t Triple B Motorsports, James Trantina’s team, under contract with Monster Machines? If so then Boogey Van may be the last time Triple B has one of their trucks licensed out to Spin Master
Yeah, they’re planning to make Carolina Crusher, but I was thinking that Spin Master can make the other Shafer Motorsports trucks because Carolina Crusher is one of those trucks that other independent teams have ran new FELD.
New to this, but we started collecting for our little guy after taking him to Monster Jam. When do these release in stores? As we haven’t seen any of these in stores yet. Just curious so we can plan accordingly after seeing your series videos. Thanks!

Monster Mutt Dalmation: 6/10 - Just a re-release for people who don't have it, fair enough. 40th Anniversary Grave Digger: 8/10 - Ok so, Yes, they released one earlier this year that was super store exclusive, but think about it, ONLY the US could've gotten it, Spin Master releasing one for everyone to get is just super smart on they're part. They wanted other Monster Jam fans that aren't in the US a chance to receive a 40th Ann. Grave Digger, so I think this is a good move on they're part, plus it has BKTs, making it look alot better. Hyper Fueled Son-Uva Digger: 6.8/10 - It overall looks nice, I personally HATE trucks that don't have the standered black tires or a color that's similar to black tires since it doesn't look correct to me, BUT I don't mind this one since it matches the entire truck, only problem I have with it is the Lavender chassis, ruins the consistent blue through the entire truck BUT it still matches the truck fairly fine. Split Paint Scheme Avenger: 10/10 - Look, they released One of Avengers best bodies ever, sure some of the decals aren't correct, but think about this, would you prefer an Avenger with a Split Paint Scheme Avenger with incorrect decals for them to fix later on, or continue to wait for Split Paint Scheme Avenger to be made by a diecast company? I think it's good enough and I'm sure Spin Master will fix it later on IF they release it again, but for now, it's perfect in my eyes and for sure one of the best trucks they released this year. With the Monster Machines reveals for Triple B Motorsports' roster, does that eliminate any chance of more Boogey Van paint schemes(or other trucks like Bear Foot and Monster Patrol), or could we still see more releases like how Hot Wheels released Wild Thang multiple times even though Shafer was with Milestone Motorsports/Muscle Machines at the time?
With the hot wheels releasing Wild Thang, I 'd like to think an obligation was made in the contract because that (and Carolina Crusher) did compete in Monster Jam within that timeframe it was released. I think now that Triple B has been focused on indie shows more, its almost no chance it could appear in a Monster Jam die-cast right now. Dude! Is there a website on which I can search for these? Spin Master doesn’t seem to have an online store apart from the Monster Jam super store and Walmart. I’d like to check the whole inventory.
Would love to get the 40th anniversary Grave Digger. Would probably turn it into a regular fleet design, as in, removing the "40th anniversary" decal to bring back the moon and house.
Boogey Van is such a disappointment! Before ANYONE bites my head off, this is a name and legend from MY childhood AND a truck I love very much AND one of the original hometown heroes. With that said, I was so excited when this name was announced in the beginning of 2022. Now granted my expectations were high considering how high Spin Master has set the bar, but then the truck render was released and it was an unbelievable disappointment for me. I don't care that they brought the name back cause if the name is not on a Ford Aerostar or at least a body that resembles an Aerostar, then it is not Boogey Van and only a cheap looking knock off of the real deal. This "Boogey Thing" looks like a 2000 - 2001 Dodge Caravan. I have absolutely love almost everything Spin Master has done with the Monster Jam 164 scale line but this is not only the biggest disappointment of 2022 for me, but it is the biggest disappointment since 2019. The rest of this mix is incredible but that is NOT Boogey Van
to be honest with you this probably might be the best series of all time so far

After viewing this video as well as series 26, I think I have the best idea for a custom.
I just love the little round headlight cutouts on the Monster Mutt, something HotWheels didn’t do. I always thought of them like eyes on the truck
