Hi James - is there a way to create a frequency table of the number of youtube uploads that meet a certain search criteria? So for example, if you wanted to know how many videos were uploaded to youtube each year that met the search term "vegetable recipes"?
Hi, Lucy. Unfortunately, I don't know of such a capability, at least with R scripts. That doesn't mean that the potential isn't there, just that if it is there I'm not familiar with it.
Hi, Gayanga. How to plot a graph from a .csv file will vary according to the structure of your .csv -- whether it is a list or a matrix or in some other form. But the following video contains examples of a few methods: ruclips.net/video/Yqx3PLdUR8Y/видео.html
When I run the code on Rstudio, Google prompt " Access blocked: This app’s request is invalid" notificantion and I can't proceed. How to resolve the issue. seeking kind help
Hi, Jamal. It's hard to be sure without all the details that came along with that error, but I can give you a few suggestions. There should be a "learn more" or "error details" or similar link that comes with that prompt. Click on it for details. This is an error that can occur when the link in your script doesn't match the link in your RUclips Google Cloud Project that you got when you got yourself a RUclips API Key (see here -- ruclips.net/video/of0nzBJrT20/видео.html -- if you haven't completed that step successfully).
Hello, Gertzaer. It’s hard to say without looking directly at your script - please feel free to send the text of it to james.m.cook@maine.edu - but my first guess is that the videos either have no comments, or the URLs have incorrect characters. Have you checked out these two possibilities?

See ruclips.net/video/of0nzBJrT20/видео.html for information on how to gain API permissions to collect RUclips data.

Wonderful video, I was wondering if you know how to plot the graph using a .csv dataset (which I scrapped using your method and saved to a .csv file)?

Check if the video you are collecting turned off the comments
