      Welcome Mike to my program of my favorites list, totally effective exercises, I want to say from my humble opinion and I want to encourage everyone who follows you to do these exercises calmly without rushing listening to your body, it's great I'm personally going to put them on my daily life because I know very well that it is a great job for health and fitness.
      Excellent Mike, thank you thank you thank you very much!!

    Hi Mike, just did your lumbar spine exercises and felt great afterward. Neither my back nor my hip hurt right now. I'm pretty active but the last hike I did on uneven snowy trails caused me a lot of hip pain, and x-rays showed the lumbar scoliosis. Hoping exercises like the ones you post will help me get back to normal. Thanks for posting your videos. I like your exercises for upper body with weights as well.

      Hi Jean! Happy 2022! Am 70 & had exercised on & off until I found More Life Health & Mike in Aug.2021. His concern for seniors & our overall well-being appealed to me & started exercising. I feel great now, although my back hurt just like yours do. All you need is to be persistant, consistant & when you don't feel like working out, ask: why not? What do I have to lose? As to balance & flexibility exercises, have you subscribed to the RUclips channel? There are many such exercises! I promise you work out with Mike & you'll forget you're 80!

    I just reviewed this video and, with the exception of the bridges, I found myself relaxing more and more just watching. , I'm familiar with all these moves, having found that they're all excellent, and feel oh so good! I do bridges regularly because I have spondilolisthesis (L5, S1) which pinches my sciatic nerve, after having suffered 3 bouts of painful and extended events which necessitate that I keep my core strong. This is a keeper simply because it's effective, even though I don't suffer from spinal stenosis, because it's truly relaxing and helpful. Again, my thanks Mike!...Anastasia

      That is so great to hear Anastasia - I really appreciate your feedback, isn't it amazing that when our bodies adapt to certain exercises we can do them with more ease, it is like our subconscious takes over as we have already done the practice. Wonderful, keep up your great efforts!

    • @MoreLifeHealth
      @MoreLifeHealth  Месяц назад

      Both may work Randy. But you don't want to be wearing the back brace often. Only use it while walking, as it can weaken the postural muscles. So if it helps, use it, but aim to eventually wear it less and less, as you get improvements. You can also try less distance, more frequently without the brace/sticks, stopping before you have the trouble and gradually increase distance.

    Hello Sir,
    I was diagnosed with a mediane bulging disc on l5 s1. With pain radiating to both legs.
    Could these excercises work for me?
    What i do know if i do the classic mckenzie exercise on the stomach, it makes it worst.
    Looking forward to your response.
    Kind regards, Rik

      I have osteoporosis and spinal stenosis of my lower spine. Was prescribed physical therapy for 6 weeks, twice a week. It helped me. I continued with the PT exercises at home on my own. All but the last exercise in this video were the same ones that were prescribed to me by the therapist, plus I had several more simple but helpful ones to do.
      Speak to your doctor to ask what is best for you. Best wishes to you.

My physio has told me to do those same excersises & can do most except for one . Do you know of any painkiller that would ease my pain please. Thank you for all your information, it is much appreciated. ( I’m 74 years old) when I walk my dogs my back pain gets worse. Can you help me any further please. You explain everything very well . 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      You'll have to speak to your doctor about medications Dorothy! If you're going on long walks with your dogs, break it down into smaller ones.

      Hey Renee. Yes, I mention that in the video, they are best done on a firm bed. You can turn the captions off by pressing the "CC" button on the bottom of the video.
