      These are Corked Boots for logging. They really don't do all that great on ice as the average person wearing them doesn't really weigh enough to allow those spikes to bite..

      @@drshin9893 Ever driven a car with studded tires? How much more grip did you really have? I'd rather have good winter tires and drive to the conditions over the false sense of security of studs. Corked boots are designed to grip on wet logs and wet forest floors. In the winter, on ice, they'll just hold you off the surface and you'll wear the spikes down.

    Are the tall boots in not much demand that the quarters do not have a die? It is just kinda weird that the quarters are hand cut and the tongue has a die for this tall boot.
