The beauty of the film is the kashimiri rebels was not demonized- the movie had captured their emotions too- what a film- its still haunting i don’t wanna watch it again 😢, ❤ its a pure theatrical treat. Don’t forget your napkins to wipe u r own teardrops😢
😂 It’s not beauty, it just because kamal is in DMK and director is afraid of the DMK propaganda media backlash. Show me one democratic peaceful Muslim majority country. Wherever they go, they create humanitarian crises and call themselves oppressed and cause troubles.. don’t glorify this, look around the world and see how many countries are in crisis now.
Kashmiri civilians* - They don't rebel against anything and they want peace but are brainwashed by terrorists They should educate themselves and distinguish between the rights and wrongs - If USA was there instead of India, it would've a different story for them
Major mukund's grandfather Raghavachari and two of his uncles also served in the army and this motivated him to join the Armed forces. This is given in wikipedia. But in the movie when sai pallavi asks sk whether his family is army family, his reply was veetukum army kum sambandame kidayathu . When u are giving importance to even small details, why u want to hide major mukund's background?
Likewise there is a dialogue in the movie where Indu played by Sai Pallavi says that for Mukund his father is his role model and he loves to add his father's name to his own. Wasn't that reason enough to depict his family background as it is without changing the dialect? This is a biopic of an inspirational martyr and authenticity should have been maintained for posterity and as a mark of respect to the family. Once the promos of the movie started, I read up about Major Mukund Varadarajan in Wikipedia. Last week I chanced upon a couple of RUclips comments by different persons and in different channels that his birth community has been deleted in Wikipedia after the release of the movie. I checked and to my horror found it to be true. This is where I feel the makers have failed us. It is an important story which will pass on to generations and the makers should have been responsible enough to portray the braveheart's family history authentically. That is the least they can do to the son of the soil who led such an exemplary life and to his family which gave him such a good upbringing.
@jayasudhakar6313 You are absolutely right. This director has given interviews in many channels, pls try to post your above comment in all those interviews. They should see it. In many scenes sai pallavi's costumes were matched with the original (design and even the color). They gave importance to all these things but purposely hided major mukund's background. Very cheap politics by whoever involved.
@@VV-tq1et, yes absolutely. I have been posting it in many RUclips channels because my angst has not yet died. I am not much into other social media platforms except WhatsApp & RUclips. I watched the movie only yesterday with family. It's been beautifully picturised. Just as much as I appreciate a very well- made film, I strongly feel the makers have let us down in this aspect of portraying the martyr's family background - in embracing it as it is. We all have multiple identities and why cannot Major Mukund Varadarajan's identities as Iyengar, Tamilian and Indian co- exist? Don't we all agree that Unity in Diversity is the usp of our nation?
