Great video thank you for it. I have a question regarding TWW... since I am planning to play a caster this time, would you recommend Spriest or Boomkin for PvP? Which spec should be easier / tankier / not always the kill to target in PvP? Thank you very much
Hi Stahp! Nice to see you back! :). Do you think it will be worth going 4 set? Since we now have an abundance of secondary stats, I am wondering if it might be worth it dropping some haste for maybe crit or mastery to have more damage. Crit would help us generate more appartions and hit big with the 2 talents that increase crit dmg of most of our direct damage abilities by 40%, but mastery gives overall more dmg. Even 10% would be quite good because then when you have devouring plague and dots on target, you will be just hitting 30% harder flat out. Also i am quite torn between Void eruption and Dark Ascension. On one hand, Ascencion is just available more often, but it doesn't really feel like it makes your direct damage spells much more "meatier" (spike only seems to hit hard when it crits, and you dont have a lot of crit to begin with). The only reason I take it is because its available more often, thus probbly gives marginally more dmg than eruption does, and because you can pair it with the talent o reduce its cooldown each time you are hit to be able to use void volley more often against double melee comps. On the second hand, void eruption feels obviously like the more damaging one, seeing as it gives you full benefit of mastery to all your dots and dps, and it also gives you access to voidbolt. Problem is that it's a 2 minute cooldown, and I feel almost obligated to take the cooldown reduction pvp talent with it, and even then it feels barely worth it. Against non-melee comps you essentially have it available just about twice the entire game, whereas ascencion you can have available up to 2-3 times. Also unsure about pvp talents. Catharsis feels like a must to have, even without the last season 4 set. On the other hand so does greater fade, but there's also things like mind trauma and the cooldown reduction and void volley. It's a hard landscape to navigate. Anyway, the season atm feels really good for sp- But I suspect that will change when everybody gets their tier bonuses. Wish they were disabled in pvp, or we got pvp specific tier set bonuses imo.
Eyo! I think playing Haste/Mastery build with relatively low versa (25%) and going for 2/2 pathogen build might be the play. If we can manage around 15% mastery it will be 45% extra dmg during VF those apparitions will hit for 120k+

Def play 4set, void form is better atm imo, and yeah i'd recommend driven over mind trauma vs melee. I think tier set will boost our dps a lot
