I'm sewing the 9" blocks in Summer Breeze, and at some point I won't sing the song every time I say that's my fabric choice. Being new to quilting, I love the Livestream! I learn so much from every episode I've seen!
Kimberly, I'm addicted to watching your videos! I have wanted to make a quilt ever since I was a young teen, and that was 50 years ago! My life was too busy before with career and raising children but I'm retired now and even though I want to do this so badly I am also so intimidated. All the lingo: fat quarters, jolly bars, layer cakes, etc. all the different rulers and notions, oh my! I have even watched all your videos for the absolute beginner and I think I could do it but still . . . I'm pretty pathetic! One of these days I'll just have to jump in! 9” is the one for me. I absolutely love, love, love the variety! My favorite part of the show is how you do a step by step tutorial with us. Showing us how to cut and sew the block. I am mostly doing cross-stitch these days because I’m raising my 1st and only grandchild. I have to use my scraps to do this years sewcialites2 so, thanks FQS and everyone that makes you a fabulous company!!!

I'm sewing the 6 inch block. I love everything about the Friday videos. I love when you do a trunk show, new fabric, your progress and pinning. I have found that pinning is essential for me. I get a lot of compliments about my seams/points matching.

I’m sewing 6” blocks. Starching has been a game changer for me. I use Sta-Flo in the big blue bottle and dip my fabric.1:4 ratio. I enjoy Kimberly’s positive attitude and honesty. Her accuracy tips are one of the things I like best.

Hi my name is Susan Grey. am sewing the 6” blocks . You are always with me in the sewing room, I must say you do get paused quite a lot hope you don’t mind. You have inspired me so much I now have a list of makes which is growing at quite a rate. My husband and I are planning on doing a lot of traveling in our caravan within the next twelve months so I have been putting together kits. I have the best husband is the best as he is making sure I have plenty of room for all my sewing things including a new machine that will do everything as well as all my cross stitch needs. Kimberly, you and your team are absolutely delightful! I always learn sew much from your live streams along with experiencing the joy of laughter and quilting. Yes, we do need "Graduate of the Kimberly Jolly Quilting University" T-shirts - maybe with a tag line of "You do You!". I always take your tutorials and tips as a jumping off point; you always encourage us to make it our own, to put our own spin on it. I do, however, always appreciate the opportunity to follow along with a quilt kit or suggested materials to make it look like the "picture on the box" (lol) first and then branch off for a creative challenge.

For the sew-along I’m going to make the 6” block. I really like your show on you-tube, you are so positive and helpful f. After the lose of my mom and husband within a month of each other, between May 15th and June 13th, I have found that having your show has helped me with continuing my quilting. There are several things I love about your show....seeing the beautiful fabrics, seeing wonderful quilting ideas, all your hints and tips, and your straightforward way of talking ("I don't have time for that", "I don't like modern so I'm not going to do modern"). I am in Australia so I can never watch live, but I must say, whenever I am looking for something to watch in my sewing room & I see extra videos by you I am always pleasantly surprised. I do watch on a smart tv so I can not comment straight away. I look forward to every Saturday morning ( which is usually 3 -5 hours after you go live Friday) when I sit with my morning cuppa to see what's new. I am truly inspired by everything you do. I am making 6 inch blocks. I love seeing the different fabrics. From this show, I really appreciated the beginning where you showed the different blocks and talked about how different color choices created a different place to focus. That helped me pick the fabric for my block one.

I have started watching this show during lockdown. I have learned what works and what doesn't work for me and my piecing has improved after listening to Kimberly's tips. I am starting with the 9" block but plan to mix it up.
I so appreciate all you teach and share, Kimberly! I found your channel during the early days of Covid. Like so many, my skills are better from watching and sewing along with you. In fact, it helped me gain enough confidence to find a quilt guild to join. I have to say, I get more out of your tutorials and patterns, and your guests than what I've found in my guild search. So, I consider my monthly FQS RUclips membership an alt-guild membership! For Sewcialites 2, I'm challenging myself to sew the 3" blocks on my Featherweight machine.

Kimberly, you would be a great math teacher. I love the fact that you always repeat your steps, over and over and over. You remind me of myself teaching long division. A student has to hear the necessary steps dozens of times in order to commit it to memory. Keep doing what you are doing and do not change a thing. You are a natural.

Absolutely the 9" block to showcase all the beautiful fabrics. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who likes things in their proper place. I think that if you spend the money on all the items that go into making something, then it should be done right. Keep up the good work.

I like 9 inch blocks (or larger), but also have done 6 inch blocks. Getting much better at smaller pattern piecing watching your tutorials. I have done 10 quilt tops since watching your RUclips channel this year alone (road to recovery from a stroke...YAY!) Your personality is a winner and you are an awesome person. Keep up the good works.

am sewing the 6” blocks . You are always with me in the sewing room, I must say you do get paused quite a lot hope you don’t mind. You have inspired me so much I now have a list of makes which is growing at quite a rate. My husband and I are planning on doing a lot of traveling in our caravan within the next twelve months so I have been putting together kits. I have the best husband is the best as he is making sure I have plenty of room for all my sewing things including a new machine that will do everything as well as all my cross stitch needs. Thank you Kimberly and crew for everything you do. Your shipping is fantastic as I live in Australia I can order Wednesday and have it in my hand by Monday.

Kimberly, you and your team are absolutely delightful! I always learn sew much from your live streams along with experiencing the joy of laughter and quilting. Yes, we do need "Graduate of the Kimberly Jolly Quilting University" T-shirts - maybe with a tag line of "You do You!". I always take your tutorials and tips as a jumping off point; you always encourage us to make it our own, to put our own spin on it. I do, however, always appreciate the opportunity to follow along with a quilt kit or suggested materials to make it look like the "picture on the box" (lol) first and then branch off for a creative challenge.

For the sew-along I’m going to make the 6” block. I really like your show on you-tube, you are so positive and helpful f. After the lose of my mom and husband within a month of each other, between May 15th and June 13th, I have found that having your show has helped me with continuing my quilting. There are several things I love about your show....seeing the beautiful fabrics, seeing wonderful quilting ideas, all your hints and tips, and your straightforward way of talking ("I don't have time for that", "I don't like modern so I'm not going to do modern"). I going to be doing 12" blocks as I hate working with tiny pieces.

I will be sewing the 9" blocks. I love to watch anything you do Kimberley. I am in Australia so I can never watch live, but I must say, whenever I am looking for something to watch in my sewing room & I see extra videos by you I am always pleasantly surprised. I do watch on a smart tv so I can not comment straight away. I look forward to every Saturday morning ( which is usually 3 -5 hours after you go live Friday) when I sit with my morning cuppa to see what's new. I am truly inspired by everything you do. Thank you for everything you do.
I am making 6 inch blocks. I love seeing the different fabrics. From this show, I really appreciated the beginning where you showed the different blocks and talked about how different color choices created a different place to focus. That helped me pick the fabric for my block one.

I so appreciate all you teach and share, Kimberly! I found your channel during the early days of Covid. Like so many, my skills are better from watching and sewing along with you. In fact, it helped me gain enough confidence to find a quilt guild to join. I have to say, I get more out of your tutorials and patterns, and your guests than what I've found in my guild search. So, I consider my monthly FQS RUclips membership an alt-guild membership! For Sewcialites 2, I'm challenging myself to sew the 3" blocks on my Featherweight machine.

Kimberly, you would be a great math teacher. I love the fact that you always repeat your steps, over and over and over. You remind me of myself teaching long division. A student has to hear the necessary steps dozens of times in order to commit it to memory. Keep doing what you are doing and do not change a thing. You are a natural.

I really love everything about your videos. I love that you show us how you do things. It doesn’t mean I’m going to always do it your way, but I mostly do it your way. It just makes sense. Your tips and tricks always help and have made me more aware of what I’m doing and My quilts come out better. I love when you show us what you have. I’m sewing the 6 inch blocks with Ruby Star First Light Collective on a black background. I love when you show new fabric lines on the show and trunk shows of new books and sew alongs. I try and watch every Friday for new products and patterns that I might like to try.
