From what I remember, they were in a tournament and both already secured the advancement to the next round. So instead of playing a whole game, it was like an unspoken handshake to draw and get on with it. Pretty cool

As a complete nerd that knows nothing of chess, I find it to be a sign of good sportsmanship when two of the greatest chess players of the most recent era decide to simply have fun because, at the end of the day, they're playing a game; and games are primarily meant to be fun.
