I understand this system is fee based after a 30 day trial. In a multi-family apartment building of 18 units, do you know if tenants are charged a fee to use the Akuvox service? Are there privacy considerations as some say the system has been hacked. Seems like Akuvox , its distributors and installers are less than candid about this.

If you have akuvox monitor and you using it for a single family then you don't have to pay anything.
But in case of multy family apartment there must charges to use it.
For further more details you may contact directly to Akuvox from their website, email or Skype.
      Thanks for watching the video.

@@Voipknowledge Appreciate that. Problem here is that owner of multi-family 18 unit without notice removed old system that was not app based and replaced with Akuvox. But no communication whatsoever from owner or CCTV as to what to do and is there a monthly cost, which is implied. I have been in touch with Akuvox customer support who claims the owner or installer will be in touch with me. But Nada. Some of our tenants here may not have smart phones or internet in order to use the system. The previous system all you had to do was push a button here or there. They put in Akuvox and for four weeks or more no communication and no mail deliveries like USPS, UPS, Fed ex, etc. No one has responded to if there is a monthly fee to use the system by the tenants, but I will wait and see if anyone gets charged. People sure don't like to honor the rent agreements.
