    Ah 2010.. The best season in recent history in my opinion. Fantastic racing and moves (check the season review if you don't believe me), probably 7 or 8 drivers that had a chance to win on their day if it went right and the last year of no gimmicks. Bridgestone tyres, no DRS and no KERS. I miss it..

    Ending a championship with 4 drivers within 16 points. Literally any of those could have been champion in last race. And Button was a contender, despite not reaching the end of the season in a position for it. Awesome stuff... Remembering those times where there was no team orders at RedBull... Watching Button disputing with Hamilton, Seb and Webber... Only Alonso was with number 1 on him. Also, a lot of talent in the grid at those days. How many of those would have a chance if at the wheel of a wining, reliable car. Anyway, 6 (already or to be) champions. Speaking on reliability, It was really different back in those days... Great year for F1

      True, but let's look at the 2018 car for example. The spins looked very weird, as soon as that car touched something, it immediately spun. A lot, if not all, the other cars didn't spun that easiky

    • @nicolaivedel5067
      @nicolaivedel5067 5 лет назад +6

      @@BenKill you're right. Vettel beat his teammate 5 seasons straight, and as soon as the rules for Aero got changed, and it didn't suit his driving style at all, he was out. He competed with Hamilton in cars, which did not suit him, but still pulled though, and won a lot of races. Had the cars of today have the balance of the cars of the blown diffuser era, I'm sure, he would've been a 6 or 7 times world champion

    • @izzelyy3189
      @izzelyy3189 7 лет назад

      Yep, Hamilton + Button was a solid choice from Mclaren. Vettel was good, but too young, not consistant enough. Same goes for Webber, beaten by Alonso while Ferrari was only 3rd at the constructors championship standings. Red Bull should have won by a large margin that year. Vettel had a great car. ;)
      Vettel is a good driver doe, having the best doesn't mean you are lazy/lucky/bad. You have the best overall. Not for every GP, but for most of them.

    • @mrme4362
      @mrme4362 7 лет назад +2

      Vettel corners at better speed because of his knowledge and practice on aerodynamics that changes when the hot exhaust air causes more downforce at the rear. He pushes it when others are braking. More downforce ...better grip...more speed. That's why Vettel is always good in corners while being very safe and being respectful to other drivers. He goes to the limit, never beyond it. In short, he's a masterclass.

    • @ryanpinder9053
      @ryanpinder9053 7 лет назад +3

      lige karso That doesn't apply anymore but when it did yes he had great control over the aerodynamics using the throttle but that was more down to the designers at Red Bull and Renault's engine mapping.
