Dr. Komotar performed brain surgery on me in 2016 when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After finding out I had one, I went to Mercy hospital in Miami first and I was quickly thrown in the direction of Komotar. Dr. Komotar was awesome. He has this thing where he blasts rap music while he operates (rap music is my fav). The last thing I remember before going into the extraction surgery was "Bring Da Ruckus" by the Wu-Tang Clan blasting as the anesthesia knocked me out. As far as brain tumors go, I got lucky being that mine was benign. After surgery I had to learn how to walk again. I spent 12 days in the hospital and 1 year after than rehabbing. I am now a 24/7 digital nomad with the constant reminder of this surgery following me wherever I go. Because of Ricardo Komotar, this traumatic memory turned very positive and it motivates me to continue on with my journey of discovering the world. Its been 4 years now of perpetual travel for me.

Progressed on to a new journey. Living in the "life of brain cancer" worsens the feelings of the journey. I have started a new chapter of my life and that story is over. It doesn't control me anymore because I do not have cancer. This is a bigger more impactful vision. 🙌🏼
