AfI ESG Executive Training: ESG Transformation for Financial Service Providers, Bali, 2024

We are excited to share highlights from Day 1 of our Impact Executive Training, “#ESG Transformation for Financial Service Providers,” which took place on November 22-23 in Bali.
During the first day of the training, our esteemed participants learned the fundamentals of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and discussed how to transform corporate strategy for long-term success. Topics included sustainability, climate risks, and their impact on firms, as well as balancing the integration of Net Zero goals and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in ESG strategies.
The sessions also included a practical component-simulated exercises and interactive games that challenged our leaders from various MFIs to find solutions in alignment with ESG principles and sustainability practices, applying the knowledge they gained during the training.
Additionally, participants had the opportunity to witness ESG in action during a field visit to the
sustainable and eco-friendly rice terraces.
